How did it go with the IHRA Jamie? Did they get the gist of what esmoking is about?

I had a look at their website but didn't see anything on ecigs. Maybe there isn't enough clinical and academic research yet for them to endorse, publicise or promote esmoking as a harm reduction strategy?

Ok, sorry I'm being a bit of a necromancer but I'm sifting through some old posts and some of them are worth revisiting.

This one seems like it could be followed up.

The IHRA ... has anyone visited them recently? What is their official line on vaping now? Could they help us with persuading authorities that vaping is desirable?

Here's a link for anyone interested in working on the harm reduction angle of things - http://www.righttovape.com/index.php...2574;topicseen

I think this thread would be better off on the campaign board.

As one who helped encourage the IHRA to include tobacco harm reduction as one of its harm reduction issues, and as a participant at the 2006 IHRA conference in Vancouver, I'm pleased that the association is supportive.

But the IHRA is not a lobbying group and doesn't have any staff that work on tobacco harm reduction. The IHRA puts on an annual conference and publishes. Most IHRA members/supporters focus on injection drug users, and very few work on tobacco harm reduction.
