Either way any laws, or bans on anything involving Ecigs or Ejuice is a blow to the freedom of vapers. Its never too late to send a email, fax, twitter, or a simple phone call. Even if you don't live in Cali it would still be nice if you can take a moment and tell the Governors staff how Ecgis have changed your life.
Worry? yes. Give up and call it quits? No. Like I said, anyone who knows more than I do feel free to tell me I'm wrong. (It won't be a first). That is what I gathered reading over senate bill 400. It classifies only the hardware as drug delivery devices, declaring their sale and distribution illegal, but doesn't say anything about liquid. It is implied it is a drug, but with the page long explanation of "tobacco products" and "drug delivery devices" and definitions of everything involved, I don't think implied counts.

Believe me, I sent my letter, spent a good hour writing it. I told him how appalled I am that this could happen to us. We all need to like you said, even if you're not from california. I just want to make sure no one is freaking out and draining their accounts to stock up if it isn't necessary yet. I am stocking up, but not going broke to do it.

I may be wrong but it's my understanding that the bill will take effect unless the guv signs to veto it.

Firhill- You're right, he doesn't have to sign it for it to become law, just not veto it. Here's the page.

You can email Schwarzenegger at Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger - Interact or contact on twitter @Schwarzenegger. No use calling now, State offices are on furlough today due to budget cuts. No way to leave a message before the deadline. Dang!

There are several threads about this under news and campaigning.

I've asked everyone I know to help stop this ban.

So he is trying to hijack the water supply for southern Cali now or what? That whole region is actually pretty water poor to start with. Few people realize that despite the fact the earth is covered 75% in water, of that only about 3% of that is fresh water suitable for human consumption and of that roughly 2% is in the polar icecaps and glaciers leaving around 1% for the entire population to live on! Scary thought indeed, people don't realize the true value of water until the well runs dry.

I would be much more concerned about that issue than whether people have access to E-Cigs! This shows just how screwed up the values in our society are. Corporations like Coca Cola can go into a area in Africa and buy up the water rights and trashing the water supply of the natives when they set up their factories and start polluting the rivers. It happens on a daily basis, you can literally walk across some rivers atop the floating debris and dead fish on top of the water, it's sickening.

I believe his major concern is updating dams, which may not be able to withstand a good earthquake and thus would cause flooding which could kill a lot of people.
