Like I said, a few fanatics at the top have gone off the deep end..
The next step will be to try to prohibit the discussion, and possession of images of tobacco, tobacco related products, smoking and vaping devices by all employees...
You think that sounds far fetched?....think again....It's about the equivalent of telling me that I'm not allowed to chew tobacco, or vape, or smoke in my car in their parking lot. I would treat it with the contempt it deserves.

My point is this isn't the first employer to pass these kind of rules. Some companies are even testing for nic which is an invasion of privacy and peoples rights. Its one thing to test for illegal substances its quite another to deny employment for use of something that is legal. Where does this stop? Perhaps if enough people refused to do business with companies that do these practices it may deter at least some companies from adopting these type policies.

Exactly. They can be douchebags if they want. And we can choose not to give them our hard earned money because of it.

Anti-Smoking Nazis
Obviously, I agree with GrimmGreen.
However, e-cigs negate every whining, "holier-than-thou" complaint non-smokers ever had about smoking. The fact that these people are still trying to ban us only proves what we suspected in high school: smokers are cooler people!
I know this conclusion seems a bit outlandish, but seriously when was the last time you saw a smoker, vaper, or pothead carry on about anything somebody else was doing?

Careful guys. I found out just the other night that if you say the honest, but wrong thing, to the wrong person on forums it gets real stupid, real fast. Some in here have very thin skin.

I'm going to have to agree with Mac and Brewster on this one. Tate Arm is a corporation, and like all corporations, they exist to make money. If they get the sense that they will not be making as much money because of a policy of theirs (like for example this particular wrongheaded and puritanical one), they are much more likely to change the policy than if no one speaks up about it. Personally, I use a different company for my insurance and have for quite some time, but I applaud those who would cancel their insurance with Tate Arm and let them know that it has to do with this no-vaping-in-the-car nonsense.
