Default I'm wondering how you all feel about possible bans

I'm new hear to the ECF and to vaping in general, so I don't think I really carry the authority yet to say it, but...

When I read about the possible FDA ban (for us yanks) of this that or the other thing, flavors, vaping in public, etc, I get pissed. I see a whole lot of people here who quit analogs and have found the key to their shackles. Many of us feel free, healthy, happy, we're open minded, willing to try something new, enthusiastic, and that seems magnified to me since we're all here discussing it on the ECF. I personally feed of other's enthusiasm, the great help and info here and I think others do too.

I've read some people who seem to be too polite when it comes to the possible bans of ecig flavors, or public vaping, etc. But for me, I feel outraged about the FDA and some legislators even considering messing with us vapers

Most, if not all of us, are current or hopefully former smokers. We've made the best possible decisions by quitting analogs, and have stepped into a whole new world where we're free (for the time being). Some countries out-and-out banned ecigs. FRIG that! If they pull that here, I'll personally consider it a death warrant by my government on my family. That's how serious I'll take that. I'm tried of the powers that be manipulating the little folks like us, and in the same breath handing out billions in our tax money to Wall Street. When you think about it, NO OTHER group has paid higher taxes on a ratio than we have as smokers. We should be done taking anymore crap from them.

If Phillip Morris wants to jump on the ecig bandwagon, great, go for it. I won't be buying from them. The reports of them messing with analogs and making people more addicted over the years is enough for me not to consider doing business with them since I've found the keys to my shackles (vaping). There are heaps of ecig companies sprouting, thriving, researching, developing, and evolving, so welcome to the world of competition Phillip Morris.

I'm against any possibility of the FDA or whatever gov branch passing ecigs off to big pharma to stick us to the wall, and I'm against them squeezing the laws until the tobacco companies are the only ones who own the technology. I know this hasn't happened yet, and I'm probably being paranoid, but you know what they say not a far stretch of the truth.

Sorry for another long post, but I just wanted to say that as a community of recently freed analog users, let's develop the mindset of "they ain't touching our vapes"

    end rant...wheeew time to vape

The tabacco companies lobby congress plus they give those guys alot of dough for their campains so their going to try their hardest to keep us smoking. Plus I wonder how manyof them eastern polititoions have stock in tabacco. Myself I'm in the process of making my own just in case.

That's what I'm thinking. They'll either let the tobacco giants own ecigs and squash competition so the only spot in town to get some are Phillip Morris, or they'll give it over to big pharma. I just feel certain about one thing, they won't simply let it go the way it's going without trying something nasty.

I'm with you, I'll make my own or get them on the underground or whatever it takes. I certainly won't stop fighting if they try any BS.

Money rules everything, but I believe that e-smoking is something they are not able to stop. Of course one day Philip Morris will be the largest supplier for sure.
