Email addresses for Il & MD

Here are the email address files for both Illinois and Maryland. Maryland is relatively complete. However, many of the House members in IL don't have email addresses listed and NONE of the State Senators do. I gleaned these all from the .gov pages for the states. I'm posting these as Excel files (xls) because the board doesn't allow me to post csv files. Sorry.

I did find a page that has email addresses for Illinois State Senators, but I don't know if the information is current or accurate. You can find that here:

Holy cow, MD (and any state) has that many state senators and house members?????
I'm not into politics, but no freaking wonder thay can't agree on anything and no wonder taxes are high when there are that many people!!!

I can't believe people can be so ignorant as to the benefits that e-cigs have for people. I quit my 30+ year smoking habit the day I got my first e-cig. I live in Maryland and just emailed everyone on that list a heart felt email. I think this whole thing is insane. My doctor was the one who "prescribed" e-cigs to me so I could kick my nasty habit. Now, I'm trying to set up a company making mods to help people as much as I can. Something needs to be done.

Please, someone tell me what to do, I have never done anything like this
before. I would need like a sample letter, something that mentions the
scientific studies showing e-cigs to be way safer than analogs.

Also, who do I send this too?
That list is daunting at best!!

Is there a link where I could just add my name (other folks in my office will
to) to those opposed to such a silly ban?

Also, what is the reason given for banning them?

It appears that the Maryland ban died in committee, but there may be another bill to restrict usage only to smoking areas. Here's a link that gives some specifics about what to do What to do - Proposed bans in 4 states

The bottom line is that the FDA wants to regulate e-cigs as drug delivery devices, which will essentially remove them from the market until they're proven "safe and effective". The FDA has also started a campaign saying e-cigs are more dangerous than combustible cigs. There is currently a lawsuit against the FDA. Some states want to ban them because they buy the half truths or untruths that they're being told, and probably because they fear losing revenue from tobacco taxes.

I want to get as much info as possible.

I would also like to find the copies of the lab analysis done by various labs
regarding e-cigs and "second hand" vapor.
If anyone has a link to any scientific research papers, that would be very
helpful in my info gathering.
I want evidence and real facts and references before I send any letters to my representitives.
