Default One stop shop for a newbie.

What should I recommend a newbie to start off with these days, and where should I send them to get it? I'd like them to start off with an ego style batt (ego twist for vv?) and would also ideally send them to one spot to get both their hardware and juice.

    Let me know guys.

Jugheads has kits and good juice, I'd go with them as a one stop shop.

Wait this is a trap!!! isn't it!

I change my first response to this one instead

    If you goto this link

Canadian Juice w/nic Supplier List - via PM only - Part 2

you should be able to get both vendors and juice suppliers

Personally I hve been recommending twists with the new stardusts or 3ml smaller vivi nova tanks. Paired up its a no fuss no muss all day play...

i would say, stay away from the VV stuff.
For a newbie, these kind of options can be overwhelming. That and you would already have to explain atty resistance and their importance. variable voltage just adds to the confusion.

But that is your judgement call to see if they would be comfortable.
Introduce them to it, but if they give you the ... look, just tell them its not a necessary but an option.

One stop shop is good, but also showing them that supplies can be had elsewhere (with examples), would help them learn to not rely on one source.

For an introduction I always stick with the, "charge, fill & vape" idea.
Not everyone wants a new hobby.

I show them basic kits from different suppliers, and throw them links to hardware and juice.
Let them do the research, then offer yourself as help before they make their first purchase.

let them do the foot work.

you dont want to turn into the "go to guy" every time they get a dry hit or pop a coil on a carto.
    I've been there....

Thank you for the suggestions thus far. Buzz, I hear and agree with almost every point you made but this kit is for a friend of somebody that works with me but does not vape. It's why I want to keep it in one place so that I can send an email and say, go here and order x y z to get started. If they decide to stick with it, I can then expand their horizons.

Personal friends get a bit of a detailed review, sampling, detailed information type deal.

    Dave, nothing wrong with that

Just sharing my input from past experiences.

Simple Ego Kit and some tasty flavours should get their foot in the door just fine, if they are serious about the transition.
I've moved to the repairables, so my sources wouldn't really help in this case.

Twist and a SR stardust. Easy and no fuss.

Retailer with juice and hardware is problematic since a lot of places seem out of line with hardware pricing, for SOME items and not others ?

    FWIW Dusty,

The better half easily gets annoyed with having to fiddle and as soon as a few carto's didn't work out for her she was not impressed.

Much like she doesn't like the KSD I originally got her, and wanted nothing to do with my LT, she is all over the twist and the new star dust.

The old star dust she liked for two days then hated it and this stardust has been over a week and is still making her happy.

She actually just texted me asking what exact setup she has so she can give that to someone else she works with.

I have been using the twist with the smaller ( I dont know rev something dot something ) vivi and also have been very happy. I did dry burn both units ....

The VV part of the twist is a no brainer really... set it and forget it , and I just explain it as if you want to tweak try up a bit and down a bit, otherwise leave it at 4.2

Twist and Stardust seems the way to go. Now to find a vendor that carries both hardware and juice.
