In that case the vanilla custard mix was in PG. So 1 part (say 30ml) of 36mg e-juice plus 1 equal part of custard MIX = 60ml of e-juice at 1/2 the orginal strength of nicotine, (36mg/2 = 18mg). Remeber the MIX didn't have any nicotine.

Using straight Loranne flavor, because its concentrated, will not noticably reduce the nicotine content per volume, nor increase the volume, as in this example. 30ml e-juice + 3.7ml Lorannes = 33.7ml e-juice (3ml more who cares) at 32mg/ml. Again who cares

Another case to use a local vender. You could simply ask him before you order it, and he'll send the right stuff.
No..its the same thing. If you are using LorAnns, Capellas, LiquidsXpress its all that simple.

    1 - Put in the unflavoured nic (1/2 full = 18mg, 1/3 full = 12mg)..just eyeball it.

2 - Add flavour to the strength you want.

3 - Top up with VG.

    Done.

Unless you are creating a new flavour from base ingredients, people dramatically overstate the complexity and the risk involved. I've been mixing my own for 10 months now and I'm amazed at how complicated people like to make it.

I would recommend calling Jack at Happy Vaper, when we were trying to figure everything out he got on the phone with us and answered all of our questions. He is top notch in customer service.

    From his website:

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us:

    Phone: 1-888-696-3697
He also runs a Toronto Vapers club where people can get together and talk about the wonderful world of PV's. He doesn't sell nic juice, but I'm sure he can help you out with information about DIY.

No its not the same thing..

You don't need to add VG or PG unless you want to decrese the strength of your base stock.

What you are doing is cutting and adding flavor. = increase in volume, decrease in nic % (strength)

What I was doing was just adding flavor. = same volume, same nic %

Some of us like 36mg straight up, and adding any PG/VG and or PG/VG flavor mix as you suggest will result in a weaker e-juice, which we don't want.

1 dram (3.7ml) lorannes concentrate (as sold in the store without PG) added to 30ML of unflavored e-juice, will simply add flavor without altering the properties of the orginal e-juice. You can do it in the bottle the e-juice comes in, because its never filled to the top. Add, shake, done.

I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation why diluting nic juice with 50% flavour or 25% flavour + VG is so very different from diluting it with 10% flavour.

I bet it involved a lot of numbers too.

    Cool so much information!

to all who posted in this thread...thank you.

mod means moderator, and model, and modification?

    hmmmm .... that's food f0r thought.

as far as posting another rant, i tend to stick to candian politics. which, unless you are canadian, and into them ...... would be sort of pointless to post.

i am sure at some point, something not related to that topic will rear it's ugly head. i promise .. i will post it with as much vigor as i can.

    also,

i have read everthing here. and it is beginning to make sense. so Jack, expect an order from me soon, you too tim. and don't worry jordan, sign me up for a few more attys and batts. i think dripping is the way to go for me.

yesterday i was really frustrated with the lack of vape i was getting out of my 901. so, i looked around my cupboards. after read that VG can be in just about anything, i found a jar of Stevia Extract, which has VG as well.

dripped 4 drops on the atty. then a few nicotine drips into the cart.

whohohoooooo ... wow ... lots of vape. i thought i was a fog machine there for a sec. tasted kinda strange at the beginning, as stevia does have an after taste.

just happy that i figured this all out.

I'm not familiar with stevia, but just pay attention to colouring, non water saleable, oil and sugar content to both avoid safety issues AND atomizer issues.
