Does anyone know of a supplier in Canada that has 2 piece vaporisers? The only 2 piece I know the name of is the kr-808 but I haven't seen any on the Canadian sites I know. Planning to buy one most likely next week and would rather purchase in Canada rather than from the U.S.

| I don't think there is a Canadian vendor of those. If you order one, you need to remember you will have to order all your cart-o-mizers from another country too. Other than continually buying new carts, I don't believe filling them will work as well as with a 510, 801, 901, M401, as many reviews on youtube have stated. Its going to be expensive and a real pain to order the carts and cross your fingers they make it across the boarder each time. Its probably for a good reason no vendors carry them here. |

I have to agree...... it IS a pain having to rely on cross border solely when it come to your "only" device. Especially during these "shoot and miss" times with customs. Why are you interested in having the 2-piece ?? Also, where are you located ? VapeOn, Greg |

I live in Alberta. The reason I want a 2piece is because I don't like filling carts. Ever since I finished off the carts I got with my 901 and started filling with juice it just has not worked for me as well as the prefilled carts did. Since I had problems with the supplier I got my 901 from (Canadian supplier) I will not order from there again and that is the only place I have seen the prefilled 901 carts in assorted flavors other than tobacco and menthol. I had almost quit analogs using the pre-filled and now that I'm using juice, of which I have tried a few different types, I rarely vape and mostly just back to analogs. I then ordered a 510 from Happy Vaper and the customer service was GREAT. I got 1 auto and 1 manual battery and thought I'd try it to see if it was just a situation with the 901 that I couldn't get juice to work for me as well as prefilled but still no joy. The only pre-filled I have seen for the 510 in Canada are the 0 nic which I don't even want to try as the whole reason I want to use a PV is to still get the nic without the junk you get from the smoke. I feel that just changing out a cart would be a lot easier for me than filling carts on the go. I feel like a druggie carrying my bag of spare atomisers, batteries and juice around in my backpack I also like the idea of having a fresh atomiser each time and not having to worry about the atty flooding from filling the cart too much, or burning out for whatever reason and having to send away for a replacement. If I manage to get completely off analogs and onto PV only, I will still have my 901 and 510 to fall back and the juice to fill them if I have problems getting the cartomisers through the border. I WOULD however prefer not to have to worry about the border if a Canadian supplier started selling the 2 piece such as the kr-808. Canadian suppliers currently get their 901s and 510s from China I believe as well as the ones who sell nic juice. I don't see why the Canadian suppliers would have any more trouble getting the 2 piece as opposed to the current 3 piece for sale here. Yeah...I know....long post but I have thought about this a lot and would really love to find a way for PV to work for me and get off these dratted analogs. |

Canadian vendors can get the KD808. But the problem is the same as with any prefilled carts. They are expensive and you need to keep a lot in stock. For example if you as my customer like bubble gum 12 mg, the supplier would have to stock a few hundred dollars in those carts to supply just you. Then when you decide you don't like them anymore, he has to have another few hundred in stock and is stuck with the bubble gum no one wants. Honestly, the Canadian vendors are guys working part time from their basements without the resources to stock. If its what you really really really want, I think you are stuck ording from the US. I know one popular vendor down there sells a 10 pack for 12 bucks. Exchange and shipping, and to me that sound like double the price of analogs. Again remeber the claims that one cart is equal to 1000 cartons of cigs or whatever BS they claim, is just that bs. If I were you, I'd work on refilling your carts for teh 510/901. Fill them at home and get some sort of case to carry them. You can buy blank carts. So if you have to fill an hard cig case with 20 carts you filled to make it through the day, why not? You are going to have the same problem with the KD8008, at BEST I beleive you would be able to reduce the number of carts you carry in 1/2, but so what? |

The pre-filled 901 I had previously claimed that 1 cart = 1 pack (based on US so 20 cigs). I agree it was not quite that much, a cart would last me most of the day, I would say about the same as 10-15 cigs. So a pack of 10 carts for 12 bucks is MUCH cheaper than a pack of analogs. I pay $10 for a pack of 25 analogs....10 carts at about half a pack per cart is the same as 5 packs of analogs which is $50. Keep in mind the above is based on 901 carts which are a lot smaller than 808 carts and based on 18mg carts which is a lot less nic than I get from my brand of analogs. On the package they are listed as 1.1 to 2.4 mg per analog (Peter Jackson Menthol). I originaly thought the reason I couldn't get completely off analogs with the 901 prefilled carts was because they were 18mg, when I bought juice I bought 26mg but that is working even less for me than the pre-filled. At this point I'm getting to my wits end. I WANT to replace analogs with PV but since I ran out of the pre-filled I've just been spinning my gears trying one thing after another spending a bunch of money on things that aren't working while STILL spending the same amount on analogs. |

There are a couple of vendors who DO ship to Canada from the US for two piece. I've had experience with both of them, and they were fine in regards to service and value for money. The one drawback is the higher price of shipping. Vapor4Life (who I use) charges 25 dollars flat for shipping. Steve ships Priority, and the postage when it arrives a few days later at my door is that it cost him between 20-22 dollars. That said, Steve throws in a bunch of extras (carts/juices/batteries) which more than make up for it. I've also used NHALER, who sells the same model of ecig. The main drawback is the lack of cartomizer flavors. Steve at V4L can't be beat for that. Anyhow, feel free to PM me if you have questions. |

What works for me with my 801, and I was a carton/week strong indian cig smoker, for 20 years, was dripping and using a cart. 3 drips on the atty and 2 in the cart would get me to work (10 min dirve) and also work for a smoke break at work. You don't even have to worry about finding fresh prefilled, just refill and drip with your old ones. I know you said you didn't like the idea of carrying a bottle, but to me its not that bad. I load up my PV at my desk before smoke break. The 30 ml bottle fits in my pocket. Not that big of a deal to me. You could also get a 3 ml bottle, which is about the size of a cig filter.. I strongly suggest giving that a try. I know you don't like it, but if dripping gets you off analogs, as I'm betting it will, isn't it worth it? For another idea make your own prefilled drippers.. Buy say 5 new attys. Before you go anywhere, 3 drops in each, 2 drops in the cart. Now .just take your 5 prefilled attys and a batt with you... Saves dripping out in public, since you are worried about the impression that gives. If you are going with the KD808 I wish you luck. The carts have to be way better than 901 prefilled. illandreth, Maybe you should try getting hold of Jack at Happy, and try one of the 306a atomizers (if he still has any) that can be used on the 510 and attempt "dipping" to see if its just cart use and/or possibly your cart wadding your having an issue with. You could also try calling Jack, as he loves to attempt assisting newbs and those having trouble to guide them along with the latest suggestions and such. He's really very helpful and friendly to talk with. I was hoping you were the Ottawa area or in Ontario at least, lol !! I have a two piece new in the box and an assortment of different cart flavours and strength that I was originally going to go into business with when HC's bullcookies shut that idea down. I had attempted to sell them in the classifieds to clear them out, but nobody showed an interest. So.................. Although these are the Smoke-51 product (or LTv9 model), that are not that reliable overall in comparison to what is available out there now.... as a friendly gesture to another Canadian vaper I'd be willing to send you a kit and a box of carts for the cost of shipping so that you can at least try that "type" of two piece ecig and see if you REALLY prefer the inconsistency that they may experience over a manual device that you'll need to essentially get into DIY'ing a bit to find your satisfaction sweet spot (honestly, I think you'll need to end up doing that anyways with cartomizers to achieve whats missing in an ecig "for YOU"). Just so your aware....... I still smoke analogs ! BUT, I'm under a pack a day now from near 3 packs a day for a looooong time. I've used the smoke-51, M401, 510 auto & manual, and have recently purchased and only received this week the Protege mod (that uses the 801 atomizer, and the GLV 5volt 510 & 801 mod. I've also been DIY'ing. So for ME, its a struggle to completely change over and hope to with the high voltage mod. But you know what ?? Big deal !!..... I'm still saving money overall, feel a lot better than I used too, and don't get down on myself because really, I've had a GREAT harm reduction experience so far even if by a little its very much an achievement with every analog I've avoided. If your set on going the two piece design, make contact with me through pm and we'll make arrangements for shipping and I'd be fine with helping you by you not blowing a wad on something you very may well not like for nothing but a shipping charge. **** To anyone else reading this, don't bother contacting me about them for free. The OP didn't ask !! And its myself offering because "I WANT TO" !! VapeOn, Greg |

Greg you are the man wish HC would take a ****. Back to the topic I don't know if it has been resolved yet but there was a problem with the two piece e-cig were the atomizer was burning the filler. You should just buy prefilled carts if you do not like filling. With nomally atomizer you get a dud once in a while I think you greatly increase that chance with disposible ones IMO.
