Default Just got a 401

I just got my new 401 kit from Electronic-Cigz.com and I applaud the speedy shipping. I literally just took everything out of the box... the atomizer hasn't even had a chance to soak up, but already I'm liking the slimmer profile (to my other eCig, the noble 510) and the green light on the end.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, thumbs-up electronic-cigz. I can't believe how excited I am just to try out some new hardware.

I prefer the M401/402/403 over the bulky 510 also.
I like to cut end off cart and tailpipe direct drip.
I enjoy the auto M401 PT as well.

A week later and I'm still loving the 401 but I can't drop my 510 either, they're both good stuff!

The one problem I've had is that this morning, I took my battery off the charger and it started blinking. I pressed the button and it stopped and I thought nothing of it. But then 5 minutes later when it was connected to the atty, it started blinking again and activating the atty with every blink.

Good to hear you're getting on well with it (if you're like me, you'll soon disgard the 510)

I've heard tales of the Dragon 401 manual self activating like that. Might be worth your while having a look round the TrueSmoker section of the forum TrueSmoker - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat & the M401 section M-401/402 "Mini" & M403 Super Mini - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat to see if you can find a solution.

Time to clean your batt and charger while you are at it.

A buildup of e-juice around the batt contact will short it out, causing the batt protection to kick in (the flashing light).

The "ring" at the end of the batt fills with the juice. Using a toothpick or a twisted piece of paper are a good way to clear it. Don't use metal like a knife or pin to clean as that might damage it.

I tried cleaning out the "ring" but to no avail. It still isn't producing any vapor or anything. When I plug it it, the charger light just goes red and the battery light doesn't go off at all.

The 401 is a fun device. I could never have quit analogs using it, but I keep one on hand for dire emergencies.
