SmokTech eGo Mega XL dual-coil carto center posts

OH GOD.


So I got a few of these tubes of awesome off MV last week, and I've been catching hell, trying to raise the flaky center posts on 'em to make contact with my batteries. (Also SmokTech, btw. Nice R&D.) So far, my 'solution' has been to gouge the hole with a paperclip and wiggle/pry at the center post for 1-5 minutes and hope I can get each one to fire up on one of my batteries.

Has anyone found a more elegant solution to this frustrating issue, other than using different cartos? I love these cartos, but I have to carry two sizes of paperclip in my eGo case for this.
