Maybe our definition of a loose draw is different. To 'me' a loose draw is when I don't have to really drag hard and still get a good vape. A tight draw is when I really have to drag/inhale hard to get a decent vape.

I'm not saying that's the right definition, but that's how I've always thought of a tight draw/loose draw. The cone/adaptor will make the draw tighter/harder because it blocks the air holes in the cartomizer.

To get a better vape- try low resistance cartomizers. Boge 2.0 or Smoktek 1.7 are good. Dual coil are OK IMO but if they are hot and depending on your juice-if it's a light flavored juice you won't get quite as much flavor. Some juices do hold up to dual coil cartos.

I'd try getting lower resistance cartomizers and possibly increase the nicotine content. TH is all about the nicotine. More PG increases TH somewhat but it's mostly about the nicotine.

You said you're really screwing the carto on tight. That could also be a problem. The button gets pushed down on the battery when you do that. You could get a tiny screwdriver and try to put it in the center hole of your cartomizer and pull it down a tad.

As a test wrap a little tape around the junction and see if that helps. The old time fix was making a small sleeve out of a carto condom, sliding it down till the draw suits you.

its funny that someone posted this I was going to say the exact same thing... didnt really think about the fact that maybe it could be the liquid, trying it again with a heavier liquid to see how i feel. so far fruit flavors just seem like a no go to me!!!!

im also getting some juice in my mouth and it seems to have a louder sizzling sound than my old cartos... not trying to threadjack just hoping to bump the thread to see if anyone else has any ideas. maybe the filling needs to fluff up a bit?

Original poster here. I gave up on those cartos. It's definitely the 2 littler air holes in the carto that aren't getting blocked/sealed well, even with the cone on. I tried putting little teflon tape over the holes and completely stopped it up, couldn't really draw it at all. I then took a needle and punctured the teflon tape over the carto's holes. That almost gave it the right pull, but I think the mismatched ohms is still a problem.

I've done this and it works.

Tip: cut the condom at an angle and place the sleeve with the angled side toward the battery and it will give you more control over the air flow.

Hmm, I have found that even putting the cone on a Kgo blocks the airflow too much for my tastes. Maybe I need to try your method. I use a VV mod now tho.

Is that with a wrapped or naked carto?
