Default Vapor 4 Life Carts grossly inconsistent.

    Hello,

I have been vaping for about a month now. I have 2 regular auto batteries and an ultra auto battery. I have no idea what the models are but they were ordered from Vapor 4 Life along with many carts.

When I first started vaping it was making me feel really sick. And, I had lots of problems getting the desired results from the carts. Out of the 25 carts less than 8 work right.

What do I mean by 'work right'?
Getting lots of vapor even after inhaling and the throat hit seems right.

The problem is these 'good' carts seem to be few and far between. The majority of carts produce a horrendously burning throat hit with little vapor. These ones make me feel sick.
This happens with same flavor and dosage carts from the very same 5 pack.

Has anyone else had these problems?

How do I tell which model battery I have?

I got some "juice" with my first order and would like to know the best technique for refilling the carts.

EDIT I should add; I experience this problem on fully charged batteries and on a pass-through which died after a couple of weeks.

I myself had a few ill tasting carts come from v4l . they replaced them and all is good from that . it seems like your carts are a little on the dry side . have you tried to add the same flavor to those carts ? here is the method i use My refilling trick

If you haven't, you should talk to V4L about this. That is an awful lot of carts to have problems with. Adding liquid definitely should help, but you shouldn't have to refill right off the bat....

I use vapor4life and Ive had a few problem carts too, maybe 5 out of 100.Its okay for me,I understand that I cant always have perfection. If you have gotton that many bad carts I would by all means contact V4L and see what they can do to help.Tell them what mg and flavors so they can check it out.
Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Well on the first hit or two on a carto there is minimal vapor production. But after you break it in it hits better. Also, it depends on your inhale method how much vapor you get. Try long, slow drags. Hope this helps.

Quality control is getting better day by day.. I honestly couldn't recommend a company better than V4L. This is a new technology and it isn't going to be perfect right off the bat.

Thanks for the input. I'll be calling v4lilfe tomorrow. I found the video that shows how to refill instantly. I refilled an old good cart, blew out the excess and dried it. YEAH!! it works good.

I don't really care about the flavors as I can barely taste them. The important thing to me is throat hit and vapor.

I am going to try filling a bad cart up one that has hardly been used and see what happens.

some flavors have more vapor than others too--the newer formulas (and they've been revising a LOT of them) produce much more vapor. the inconsistency might have something to do with the flavors, that's certain. or are you noticing inconsistency between carts of the same flavor?

starting out can be tricky--took me quite a while to get good flavor. oh, and you have over 15 posts now, so i think you can post in the V4L subforum here--i think valerie, steve, and mark are all on now (the V4L crew) so you might get some advice from them if you post over there!

Inconsitancy can be found from within the same 5 pack same flavor same dosage.

I am pissed that I threw away the empty good carts except 1. Cause I found refilling the good cart is awesome. I refill the bad carts and they are still bad. the bad carts just suck.. no favor no anything just raspy throat hit and hard to suck on

Right away I can tell when it is a good cart. The way it reacts. My technique for hitting it doesn't change from cart to cart.

I like V4L, have ordered from them and recommended them; however, when it comes to a cartomizer’s flavor, consistency, and not to mention price, the best option is to buy empty cartomizers and fill them with your favorite juice.
    Science is fun :)

V4L? Well, no longer for me. I just finished 37 V4L cartos I got in trade and the last 20 of them of them were horrible. Vapour was pretty decent (on a 4,8 Volt OG Puck BoxMod).
I would get a bitter aftertaste from vaping them and it got to the point where anything I would eat or drink had that same bitter aftertaste.
So I washed the remaining 4 of them in water and some sticky clear thin liquid came out of them! It was NOT PG or VG ejuice.
I decided to switch to a blank carto that was not V4L and the bitter aftertaste went away. After a few days I tried out one of the V4L cartos and the bitter aftertaste returned.
I then boiled them for 5 minutes and will try one out again later on in a day or so.
So has anyone else had this same experience??
I roll with 'The OG Puck' BoxMod - "One Toke Over The Line.." Genisis "The Line" Rebuildable Atty-Carto for me: no more Chinese-made cartos! "I smoke battery boxes."
