Smoktech Dual Coil Cartomizers

One of my DCs developed a burnt taste when my 3.7v PV had a sticky switch.
I was getting low vapor and then the burnt taste.
Luckily I was able to wash the foul taste out and DC is still working at maybe 80%.

Has anyone noticed a difference in sizes of the Cartos from different vendors?
I purchased "510 Dual Coil Stainless Mega Cartomizer" (Manufactured by Smoke-Tech) 1.6 ohms
and there is a BIG difference in width and a some difference in length.
The bigger carto was advertized as Stainless when in fact it is Aluminum or some light weight cast.

Yes I noticed.
Mega is about as standard a measurement as the scoops used for measuring raisin bran.
Mine are stainless steel; I'd bet on it.

If they are both Smoke-Tech and the same model, how can it be different. One of these vendors are selling knock-offs. Both vendors are the top 5 vendors.

I bought "Mega" from MV.
Month later the "Mega" is a different size at MV.
I don't know who assigns the name but I doubt if it's Smok Tech.

Ahhh you guessed my bogus vendor name. Stainless to me means Stainless Steel. Not brushed Aluminum.
These cartos are so wide, I have to re-tool my juice tank caps to fit them.

I have the REAL Smoke-Tech price list/catalog from China and they show 2 S.S. types. XL(45mm) and XXL(50mm). No where does it say Mega.

Dollar to doughnut says mine are stainless steel.
Mine are same diameter as 510 batt.
Have not tried the fat ones so I don't know what they are made of.

Mv sells like 4 or 5 different dual coils some with no tips and some with. I just ordered another batch of ss duals will have to see what I get. Has anybody bought any clear duals lately. Now I remember why I did not like them...they dont absorb juice no wheres as well as the ss duals do. Just curious if they changed the filler on them

All my clears, SS and black absorb well.
Last order made about 4 weeks ago.
