i know it's been brought up in diff threads but, in terms of heat and melting. is there a better "straw" 'to use?

i tried the old syringe , did not work out to well so now im using qtip straws (plastic straw) and no it does not melt i have the straw stuck to the side of the cart with no problem |

I must be doing something wrong when I top the cart, since the straw is below the cart filling level, I have no choice and the liquid goes down and fills the straw? just a mess! |

I tried this when OP first posted it, but This mod (single red straw) did nothing for my 901 |

I'm not sure if a straw works on a 901. But I found the best straw to be the one from a q-tip, bottom end cut at a slant.
