    UPDATE:

Just to let you know, the best way this 'Rho Mod' is working for me is not NOT leaving a big hole in the middle. I will still roll it up with the inside tube of a pen but I think I'm going to start using something smaller like a tooth pick. The bigger the hole is in the middle the easier it is to drip into but it also has a greater tendency to leak. Getting e-juice in this material is not difficult, as I have found. Instead of letting the drop fall on to the top I am touching the drop to a corner and letting it seep in. It goes in easy and fast. The only thing you need to worry about is over filling but waiting a split second between 'touch drops' you will see pooling when it gets full.

    hope this helps

One thing ive noticed with this mod thats great, and bad at the same time. You go from the "just filled" throat hit, the to "totally empty" burnt taste in one drag. When you look at the cart due to the liquid soaking to the top so easy, it ALWAYS looks full. Its good practise to add drops every once in a while and not wait for the vapor dropoff, it just dosnt happen!

I am using the 510 version of Prodigy which goes through eliquid faster than when used with regular battery, so I normally always top off. What I found is that I am able to top off with 9-10 drops with the Rho Mod without getting any eliquid into my mouth. Anything more than that and I am sure to suck in some liquid. Is that what people mean when they talk about leaking, that the eliquid leaks into the mouth?

Still, 9-10 drops is is about twice as much as I was able to top off with the straw mod, so it is well worth it.

One other thing: I saw the instructions for cleaning the filler. Why do you need to clean it and what happens if you don't clean it?

There are some people that clean PTB every day. I dont but I have heard that wicking is better on new or clean PTB. I have about 5-6 carts with this mod and I clean them about once a week.

i clean my ptb's every couple days. i vape pretty heavy and seems like after a day or so vape production goes down from getting gunked up. i just rinse then under some warm water and dry them off and they are ready to go like new again

Thanks. I'll give cleaning a try after about a week to see if there is any difference.

I've been using this mod about a week now and it's great. I had some problems with it not springing up and touching the filter to I tried cutting half of it off below the fold on one side and rolling it up so it goes down around the sides and I put a pen spring in the middle, needs some work but feedback would be appreciated.

Yes, I and others have found that after the cart has been on the atomizer for a little while with this mod, the middle tends to cave a little and cradle, if you will, the atomizer bridge. I dont think this is a bad thing. Well as long as the sides stay where they are creating a funnel type shape. I feel it may be helping in two ways.
One: the sides help keep the middle from falling deeper into the cart. I have tried PTB plugs in the past that only sat on top of the cart. The problem with that and one of the reasons why I started using this mod is because the bridge kept pushing the whole plug deeper into the cart than I wanted. With the 'Rho mod' only the middle is pushed down.
Two: With only the middle pushed down, the other rings have an opportunity to make contact with the atomizer bridge.

This all will only happen if the final roll is loose enough to have the flexibility to shape around the atomizer bridge and, I think, there are frays on the bottom allowing the middle to be pushed down some what independently.

As always, there is no 'one right way' to do it. If it works better for you with a tight roll or if you decide to create a little funnel shape then cut the bottom or whatever GREAT as long as it works. If something does not work, please let us know so we can see what we can do. I am really interested in the spring idea. If you have a pic please share and report how its working out for you. I guess my only concern would be too much pressure to the atomizer bridge. I have put things in my carts that have literally scraped off the material of the atty bridge. But as long as you do not intend on twisting too much or if there is not too much pressure on the bridge I'm all for those in trying it.

I am still using the double folded (etc) mod with great success. I am enjoying the taste of my e-juices so much now that I have ordered about 7 different flavors from Nhaler.com to try.

I have beed using this mod for a week, and I love it i get to vap all the e liquid except very little drop or less, I went though 2 mods in a 12 hr shift 18 drops per. not bad at all.

All my 510 cart have this mod I get no leakage, I think the key is the folds and having a wicking seal at the top but not too tight or too lose.

I also get alot of vapor, a good thing I use more juice cause i vap more, but it is still cheaper and better for me, and everyone around me.
