Guess what? Cignot is now selling 510 empty carts with PTB!!! Would love to know how they've rolled/folded them.
Not sure if people know this or not, but I read in some thread that nylon tulle is supposedly what the pyramid tea bags are made from, and you can buy tons of it for a few bucks.
Method for getting more juice to the atty when it is getting low, I shake the ecig, similar to packing a pack of analogs but without impacting into anything. 3 or 4 shakes gets you a few more hits.
I only do this if I am getting ready to change flavors or find myself without juice nearby. Otherwise I just top it.

dunno if this is why, but i've been rockin the same atty for 5 weeks now using this mod
not the slightest change in vapor or throat hit
going for 8 weeks, good goal, very attainable... hah
I switch back and forth between 4-5 attys. So its hard to tell how long they last. Plus, I clean them periodically. Here's hoping they will last me (all together) 4-6 months or more. One thing I have noticed is that (for great taste, vapor and throat hit) its good to either make new ones or simply clean them once in a while. The last one I cleaned I did not even unroll it. Just pulled out, rinsed in hot water paper towel dry, put it back in and filled. Brings back everything.
Another thing I have noticed after reviewing one of my old videos is that, for me, this mod works best when the outside roll is slightly taller than the cart. In one of my experiments I ripped the material off my atty bridge. I was messing around with it figuring that I will just use it to drip. I drilled a hole in one of my carts to drip without having to take the cart off but I wanted to make sure that the liquid went right into the side of the bridge. Long story short (too late) I have a tiny metal rod (from network cable) that runs from the bottom of the cart to the side of the atty bridge. In making this 'rod' i realized how little space there is between the top of the cart and the bottom of the atty. Now knowing this I realize just how much this mod is surrounding the whole atty bridge and if I make the mod just a little taller than the cart I am pretty much filling the atty with PTB. Because we have the spiral design the outside stays tall while the inside rolls collapse to the pressure of the bridge.
I know this mod is not for everyone. I wish the rolls I make were consistent since we know that its best when its not too tight and not too loose. But If it is a roll that I thing may leak I just put less juice. Still, I'd rather have the choice between 20 and 17 drops knowing that I am going to use most of it rather than the usual 10-12 or even less and using half.
thoughts?

Well, I did the mod 2 days ago. And, holy smokin' Mary, is this da [shizzle]!
Great vapor, even better taste, more pronounced. Lasts alot more and is even nicer to look at.
BUT...
Well I cannot get it consistent either. I did 4 single folded, rolled, frayed PTBs, and 2 double folded. I think other than a little harder draw on the double folded, there isn't any difference.
Also for no apparent reason, randomly any of those carts will flood the atomizer big time! I don't know why - it just happens. I always manage to top off with the same 8-9 drops, and that's it. Why does it flood, is a mystery to me.
I thing I would suggest is: make the fold uneven - smaller on the end that is going to be in the center when rolled. That way you can compensate on the atty pushing it back.
Rho, any tips on the flooding? Do I leave a "straw" in the senter?
To me, "flooding" the atty means I no longer get the crackling sound and get more of a coffee maker sound that sometimes leads to no sound and no vapor. This has only happened to me if I put way too much juice (full cart AND 4-5 drops in the atty). The only time I did that was when I was cleaning the atty and didnt know how much to put back in it to get it working again.
[side note: to fix this, I usually just isolate the atty and blow into the bridge side removing the liquid out the side that goes to the battery. Make sure you catch the liquid into a napkin or something (could get messy.) I do this until I no longer get a gurgling sound while blowing. Then I can put a full cart with the rho mod and it works fine.]
In my opinion, the best way to avoid flooding in this case (where it does not matter how much juice you put in, it still floods) is using the double fold and not leaving a big hole in the middle. I know its nice to have when topping off so you dont get so much bubbles but I found that even with the "straw" (hole) left in the middle you still get bubbles, just not as soon. What I do now is a touch drop. I get a drop on the end of the dropper then touch the tall-outside roll of the rhoPTB mod. This way I can still see how many drops I put in and because the middle part of the mod is lower you can see when it starts filling.
i hope this helps and let me know if it does not or if you have any other questions

If I experience flooding, I just hold it with the cart down for the next few hits. this is what I normally do every time I top off anyhow. After a few hits I start to hold it battery down. Then, if I'm not near juice and getting dry, I do the "pack the analog" movement (just the movement, don't actually impact anything) to shake some juice down to the atty.
