forgot to mention....i did not throw the first two atomizers away....i was smart enough to keep them because I was going to tinker with them and figure out how they work...then while waiting for the new ones i stumbled across this forum. 
I have a bad habit of not throwing away broken things....it's an engineering thing I guess lol.

OK - I made a couple of these and one works like a champ and the other is - meh. I think I'm sizing them wrong. Can someone please tell me the approximate dimensions of the material that you should start with? If I cut a PTB in half, I don't seem to have enough material to work with.

For me, one of the keys is having the mod slightly stick out the top of the cart. I feel it does two things. It brings the PTB all the way down to the bottom of the atty along its circumference. The second would be that it makes it really easy to take out without a paper clip or anything.
