Great! I'm glad that worked for you TheLook!

I just tried this with a premium carto... i recommend NOT trying this. The polyfill is a PITA to remove! i finally got it out, and restuffed it with bluefoam, but vapor production was next to nothing, and the barrel got very hot, very fast. not sure if i could have done a better job of it, and came out with better results, but for the time and the effort it takes, it's just not worth it as far as i'm concerned.

Sorry about the quality... i only have an iphone.
its very easy to do. i used fine point tweezers to *carefully* remove the batting. you have to work it out, careful not to damage the atomizer. you cant just yank it! then cut some blue foam into 3 strips, placed between the tweezers, and slid down into the carto (much like restuffing a cart)
    WOW thanks for this.
So this is the picture with it stuffed with blue foam correct? can you take a picture of what it looks like with the old out?? so I will know what the un-stuffed looks like? I am not sure I could tell what the atty looks like in a Cartomizer?? What I am trying to NOT damage?

    thanks for this.. Appreciate it!!!!@!

I have been looking at litecig and I dont see any thing different n the description of the two they offer. As a matter of fact after looking back through my email I had emailed them and asked the difference just last Monday and asked the difference (because the price was different..

Sorry another question. What is the differance in the
KR808D-1 PREMIUM Blank Cartomizers and the
    KR808D-1 Blank Cartomizers?

    the answer I got was

""not a clue on that unit honestly. the premium are a much nicer cart really"

So I am confused at what is different? can you help? thanks again!!!

Premium cartoz provide better vapor, and a more consistant hit. Many think they also improve the flavor. I definitely recommend giving them a shot if you have yet to try them!

I am pretty sure V4L invented these, and I think Leaford has a video about it. Check him out on youtube, or eSmokerForever.

Yep, blue foam. That's why it's blue !!! I'll try to get a pic next time I rip up a carto, but not sure how well it'll turn out. give it a try... i'm sure, if you have ever used cartomizers, you have a stash of used ones lying around. try it out!
What are you trying not to damage?? anything that isnt polyfill ! because that is the only thing we are replacing!

Put a meter on them and check for differences in the ohms.

any idea how long this will last till the foam needs replacement? I've thought about this, but I'm a really lazy person at heart, but if this will let me use the burnt cartos I've got laying around, or will hold more juice or something I might do 20 or 30 of my cartos.

here's a question, do you take the stuff off the atomizer coil?

Here are some posts on refurbishing cartos:

    # of refills? And when do you toss a carto?, Post 21

    Fluval in a KR808 Cartomizer, Post 6

I have stopped doing the refurbs because my 50-some cartos are still working OK and I can't seem to resist buying new 808 and 510 cartos. I also decided not to worry about burnt carto filler because it is minor compared to the zap from a new atomizer even after I tried to clean them.
