    Default Fairfield Nu-Foam

    Hey all -

I spotted the Fairfield Nu-Foam at the local stores, and thought it may be a good filler since it has a stiffness to it that may resemble the factory cart filler, versus the polyfill which is much softer. I decided to send an email off to Fairfield to see if it is indeed pure untreated polyester. Here was my response:

    Good morning Shane,

Nu-Foam is pure polyester which has no added chemicals to make it flame retardant.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    All the best,

    Hello -

I have a question regarding Nu Foam. Is this simply pure polyester, or is it treated with chemicals?

I am looking for a foam filler materialthat is pure polyester without any added chemicals.

    Thank you,
    Shane

I may give this stuff a try this weekend. Anyone know if it wicks decent or not?

Sounds interesting. May give it a try next time I go to a store.

    Thanks for the info!
