There are two things that will cause gurgling noises (and they're both related). One is a flooded
atty and the gurgling is down in the bowels of the atomizer. Blowing it out will resolve that.
The other is liquid up in the air passages of the cartridge. This is often accompanied by a bit of liquid in the mouth. I've never had to take a cartridge mouthpiece apart to get that out. I just pull the cartridge, put a paper towel over the filler end, and blow through the mouthpiece hard. It all comes out on the paper towel for me.
