I call it ADP Mod.. Auto Drip Mod!
    I don't see a picture?

I just added a diagram to my post above.

I was just trying to think of a way to hold up the plug without a piece of metal that could rust nor corrode.

Though, someone with a 801 cart may just want to try that straw out as it sounds like it would totally hold the foam if cut to the right length needed.
The advantage is that the plug sits higher than the ridges, if you cut the straw right, allowing more room for more liquid. But it may actually be a wash, because the straw displaces some liquid.

Weird... I see the pics fine. Basically the guy cut a sliver off the white cap (aka "condom") that comes over the end of the 510 cart. This gives him a rubbery flexible ring, which he put into the cart sideways. It's hard to explain without the pics though.

I think you have to get an extra straw at every restaurant you go to, and find one that fits. Let us know. Then the e-cig community will raid every one of those restaurants across the globe, stealing straws. LOL.

No, I get it! That's clever, if it holds!

I think the drinking straws you can buy at the grocery store would work - they are usually not as wide as restaurant straws. I'm going to the store later anyhow. I'll check.

For a plug I used a piece of a greenie scrubbing pad. I pressed the end of the cart onto the pad and it held the outline to follow. I snipped a piece off just a tiny bit larger, so it seals the top well. Then I squeezed the filler into the cart above the straw. I pressed it in to sop up the fluid just above the straw line.

So far, it's not flooding, no liquid in the mouth and it's vaping really well. No funny taste from the greenie material, either.

If I can find a straw size that is larger in diameter than a coffee straw, but smaller than a Micky D's straw, it would be even easier!

Carefull, the atty bridge goes deeper into the cart then most realize. I tried to attach the same pic editied with a marker for the bridge level.

    Hope it works.

EDIT: ofcourse not.. cant figure out the forms picture managment system so.. old school way it is. heh.

Noticed something with my mod. When you take the plug out to refill. Make sure to pat the plug a little so it will go back into its normal shape. If not you wont know which way is the right way to insert it back in. I noticed when i just inserted the plug back in that the atty flooded a hair. I was like whaa? Didnt happen at all last night. Then i pulled it out and thought maybe i didnt have it the right way in and it was turned on its side. Touched the plug a couple of times with the tweezers and sure enough it expanded back into its original shape and i didnt have it in right. It was turned on its side. hard to tell as the foam is so thick at stock it looks right but it was'nt.

Still have yet to count the amount of hits i can get out of it before its dry.. though i'm sure that will be different for everyone as everyone vaps differently and some take larger hits then others. Dont feel like having a massive nic buzz if i tried to just puff down on it all at once. hehe. Might need to pull out the no nic.

I guess i could just somehow remember how many hits each time i vap and keep count. Prob better to have a pad a paper handy to jot it down.

You're going to kill yourself if you try to count hits. Keep it simple, count hours.

I filled my carts when I headed to work at 8 AM (I carry a Prodigy and a Chuck at all times). I won't refill until 5 when I leave to go home. And the only reason I'll do that is to make sure that I don't run dry on the drive home, because dripping at 85mph is kinda stupid.

Yes, there is an indent in the plug after use, but (from my understanding) the bridge doesn't get hot, it's a wick to take it to the heating element. This way, the bridge wick is sort of surrounded by the plug material and kept wet.

You do need to make sure the plug isn't compressed too much so it's "hard" and starts bending your bridge.

Kristin, i did this straw thing yesterday with straws from MC, because they are somewhat fixed in length, the bridge could be deformed or the cart does not fit right.

sooo, i cut the straw from the end that goes to the bottom of the cart with scissors a few times halfway up. i hope this way it has a similar effect than the rubber&spring.

worked too, but flooded at least one atomizer. thats why i tried today with the rubber cap. maybe your greenie pad holds the liquid a bit better back than polyfil.
