I have tried : Cotton - goes bad to quick Polyfill - goes bad to quick Fluval - goes bad to quick Sponge - goes bad to quick Dripping - hassle in public, habit forming (we have enough of those as it is.) LPTB goes - bad/empties to quick Blue Foam - Eclypse's idea lasts longest and works best for me. Everyone is all technical and everything that's so cool. Gettin' ready to put em on the production line haha. seriously... Eclypse... this is still my favorite. I never measure anything it always works perfect. If only the carts were bigger still..

Whew......Just finished reading the whole thread while drinking my morning coffee....took three cups and too donuts to get through the whole thread. Things I have tried thus far: teabags: too much hassle Buff Puff: too much fiber on atty and expensive Mister Clean Eraser Sponge: Very thing peace no leakage but not porous enough for consistent vaping Dripping: great vapor but only last several hits and not good while driving Today is the day I go to the pet store!!!!!!!! Thanks for the good morning read. |

Not sure where you got that idea? The buff puff is cheap, considering how much material you get for $3.20 and I never got fiber on the atty with it?Also, anyone using Mr. Clean dry erasers needs to get their head checked! That stuff is 99% chemicals!! ![]() I have yet to try the blue foam - still need to do that, to see how it performs compared to the BP. Eclypse seems to be making headway with it. Aren't there 2 kinds of blue foam?

Cotton - goes bad to quick Polyfill - Lasts a long time, easy to clean and reuse. Doesn't wick fast enough for thicker juices and high voltages, even with the straw mod. Fibers come loose and get into the atty. Fluval water polishing pad - Lasts a long time, easy to clean and reuse. Doesn't wick fast enough for thicker juices and high voltages, even with the straw mod. Fibers come loose and get into the atty. Foam, including the marineland blue foam - goes limp and looses it's structure from heat and juice over time. Leaks with thinner juice. Walgreens Facial pad - Holds it's structure longer, wicks consistantly. Should last much longer than other materials. Works with a wider range of juice types without leaking. Will work with or without the straw but straw is perferred. Just my observations so far. Kevin

Hey Kristin! How is it coming along? Does it need a spring or straw or anything? How long before you have to clean it? How long does the buff puff last? 20 question you've been hiding! I love the blue foam but always looking for better!

| More than 2. I looked into the foam pads a while back. These, like the oem filler and the PTB, are PET (polyester). Different foams here: Aquarium Filter Sponges and Filter Filter Foam Two that I know have been used for ecigs: This thread: H.O.T. Magnum Foam Sleeves | Sponges & Foam | Filter Media & Accessories | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com Earlier thread - fluval foam: Fluval Foam Blocks for 03, 04 and 05 series Canister Filters | Sponges & Foam | Filter Media & Accessories | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com An interesting shape, likely too big: Fluval U1 Foam Pad | Sponges & Foam | Filter Media & Accessories | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com The fluval is made by Hagen and they have information, faq and a search engine and contacts for questions here: Home Aquatic faq: Find Answers (Page 1 of 17) At the top, you can punch in 'aquatic', 'safety information MSDS' and then a keyword - eg. 'fluval' and get a listing of topics. And a listing of all their filter products including the fluval pads - A-24x series - with the polishing pad 248 being the most advised and the foam filters are the A-22x series. Here: Search

VaporHead4Life, I have tried the marineland foam with the straw. It does help because the blue foam tends to sink into the cart after a couple of days. The Walgreens facial pad is similar to the blue marineland foam but it is a little more dense and holds it's texture better. The straw will help even the stock filler because it allows for a much thinnerpiece of the filler to be used which increases the wicking flow. The whole idea of the plug reservior system is to increase the volume of juice available for vaping. There are many different filler options that can be tried. The best part of this forum is to hear fro different users and the ideas they come up with. Eclypse and Kristin have done a great service to us with their work. I'm sure that more ideas will come up and things will get even better for us. Kevin
