I believe scubabatdan has something real here.. that can be manufactured or sold in a refillable cart.
Had some trouble with the new design tonight while testing. I was loosing my mind and finally figured it out. 2 dying attys.Cant complain though as they both lasted well over a month. Though i'll try cleaning them anyways and see if it helps.
I want to play with it a little more so i'll wait till tomorrow afternoon to show the new mod.
Hallelujah, I finally got this to work. With nothing better to do today, I drug out my 102 and fitted a spring in the cart and then put the plug in and I must say, so far it works well.
It still doesn’t work on my RN4081 atty when attached to my Wall Wart mod. Don’t know why, but in just a few seconds after loading, it taste pretty nasty. But, as I said, with the 102, powered by the same Wall Wart, it’s seems to be working.
Hopefully I’m still this happy in a few days.![]()
Just to warn you.. dont try it with a good atty as theres high potential to bend or crush the bridge of the atty when the brass/silver screen makes contact with the bridge.. which its gona have to inorder for it to work.
I tried that long ago.. bought a pack of brass and silver screens.. The silver screen is way to thick to bend into shape. Was going to try the brass but got as far as burning off the primer on it with a lighter and tried to shape it and said screw it! lol.. Too freakin nasty looking to imagine my liquid mixing with the black crap.. plus having the prob with corrosion over a short period of time is also discusting to think about putting that into your lungs. Its made for pipes and should stay there.
well I loved the blue foam. I am liking the silver screen even better, not sure of the page it was on but I reposted on page 16. It is harder to make and harder to refill. But it does taste better and last longer initially. Not sure if or when the silver will ever turn green. But I am going to find out! As for the atty, yeah.. you're gonna want a dead one to seat it..
