eclypse, this is working great for me. Thanks for posting the pics as well. I'm currently using some rather thin 48mg juice and am scared to try with the good stuff I got from nhaler as I have very little left.

I'd be curious to know how this is working for folks with different (thickness) liquids.

I'm using Nhaler liquid. Just got some Vafe Mocha and Prlines & Cream!

I also realized that two coffee straws, side-by-side, work well, too!

Concept only. I have no idea if this will work. I felt like playing with scissors, but don't feel like playing with a cart.

Cut a straw too long to fit into a cart.
Make 4 cuts, ending each slightly below where the bottom of the foam will be. The red "Atty bridge Level" line that eclypse added, I guess.
    Bend two sides outwards.

    Cut those sides off

Bend the other two tabs outwards

Make a couple diamond cuts, taking chunks of straw out of the sides
And a couple v cuts from the bottom
Theoretically these will help juice flow, but may be unnecessary

Now insert the straw, bent flaps up. They should provide a little bit of spring action to push the filter up towards the bridge. And maybe form the filter into a V to "cradle" the bridge.

    Just an idea.

I've been taking a pipe screen, folding it 3 ways into a "N" shape (or a "Z" shape, if you prefer), and stuffing it down the cart so the "crossbar" of the N (or Z) runs down the middle of the cart, then perching a small amount of filler (I use wool) on top of that.

I'm still perfecting it (getting the density right, etc.), but it works pretty well on either a 901 or 801 cart (I suspect the wool fits into the "nooks" in the 801 cart better than foam would, but I could be wrong).

Are you saying you left the white polyfill in and added the blue foam? I ditched the polyfill altogether, cut a plug per Eclypse's directions and have tons of vapor and flavor with a 510.

I am having a few issues with flooding and leaking, though, and might have to play around with plug size or not put so much liquid in the cart.

Hope Eclypse can get this down to a science with maybe a template (or hole punch?!) to eliminate the trial & error angst!

Thanks, Eclypse, for taking the time on this mod.

    @ Dredbull, LOL!!

Welp, i've been having some probs with the plug size. I have not had anytime to measure and cut it to the size i listed. I just eyeballed last night in a hurry... In a hurry i'm talking screaming sick 8 month old. lol..

So today i'll FINALLY have time to get the size right.. scarry part is that the plug looses its springiness after about 24 hours or so.. So leave the same plug long enough and you'll start to get some leakage.. then you'll know its time to change it. Ofcourse knowing when this happends and changing it before it does would be smart.

So i hope i can figure out the right size as now that i'm thinking about it, when i took the measurement of the plug that was working, i already removed it and refilled about 3-4 times before that. So it may be a little smaller then the original size.

Test it if you want.. though you may want to wait for the perfect size as it seems to have to be perfect to work right. Too large it wont wick good.. too small and it will leak.

Great thing i found the perfect size on the first try or i would of thought it would'nt of worked.

Though, i'll tell ya this, when you get it right.. ITS AWESOME! Never leaks and wicks like ya never experianced before.. everytime for hours.

Well, just tested the original size i posted before. This time measuring it with my Digital Caliper and its working just like day one! hehe. Ahh.. thats the clean hit i remember.

    Heres the size again:

10.40 mm Long (.409 Inches) x 6.88 mm wide (0.267 Inches) Wide. The thickness is just stock, as it came in the package.

EDIT: Just tried 10.40 x 7.00 mm and its working just as good.
