If you don't have this exact blue foam and/or a set of digital calipers, you can just cut the plug a little big. If the atomizer runs dry, check to see if you have any juice in the cart. If so, trim a little bit off the plug. Repeat until you the atomizer goes dry when the cartridge runs out of juice. If you ever get flooding then you cut a little too much off, so start again with a plug that's too big.

If you like dipping or dripping, this mod has the same effect with the flavor. Its nice and moist and full of flavor unlike what you would experiance with using a cart filler.

I've been runing these tests with both my mods (SilverBullet and Protege) just to take the battery out of the equation. Works just fine on a regular 510 battery as well as you would expect as all units are runing at 3.7v.

I really need to try this on 6.80 volts. Its just that i'm afraid to after my first attempt using the SB at 6.80v it killed an atty. My fault as i flooded the atty with too many drops and then stupidly blew out the atty and put just 1 drop on and bamb! Was too dry and killed it. That was'nt with this mod though.. Should try it anyways.. hehe. In the name of science! I seriously have a good feeling that this mod will keep the atty nice and moist.

Welp, i'm back and with a huge.. NIC BUZZZ.

First off i'm new to all this vaping.. Day one for me was 22nd of Sep. I just bought and received my first high voltage MOD (SilverBullet) on Oct 30th. Didnt read up on high voltage vapping too much if at all so i have no idea other then one persons telling me to use 3-4 drops on the atty and take 4-5 puffs and repeat. Doing this wtihout using a cart filler.. so just dripping.

With that said.. i have no idea if people normally use carts with filler on high voltage with a 510 atty..

Now, i just vapped away on the SB at 6.80v using this cart mod. At first i was afraid to kill the atty runing it too dry so i added 3 large drops and puffed away with the cart mod. It was slurping basicly the whole way through. When i noticed the vapor drop off i went inside and pulled the plug and seen that it was emtpy of juice.

So then i get brave and this time fill it like normal and add no drops to the atty. Went back out and now had some nice clean puffs! I made sure to listen to the atty to make sure it was wet each puff i took. Meaning i heard a little sizzle and then drawed took my 2-3 sec draw.

I tried to keep track of how many times i could hit it.. hehe. I lost count after 30.. nic buzz So i'm guessing here but it was probably around 50 hits or so.. Right near the last hit i felt a huge throat hit and thought.. whoa, might be dry! hehehe.

That mod with the silverbullet runing at 6+ volts kicked my ass!

So, its safe in my mind that if this mod will keep an atty nice and wet at 6+ volts its doing a great job at the normal 3.7 volt 510 batteries.

Now i can safely vap away in the morning to get my buzz on quick with a normal full cart and not have to drip.

Oh, quick note.. I was using my one and only real joye 510 atty for the high voltage test as i dont really like it as it has a hard draw compared to the 510 atty's i got from TW with the wide gold band.

Thanks for the tips scottes.. Yeah for those people with no calipers, you can get one cheap from Harbor Freight Tools. Theres cheap! Check for local store location.. You may get lucky and have one close to you.

But like scootes said once you get the size down.. cut a bunch at once.

??? Anyone out there trying this?? Your missing out. hehe. I've come to realize that a 2 sec draw is equal to a normal 5 sec draw before and now a 5 sec draw is crazy with this mod.

If it wasn't already past my bed time I'd be trying it. Maybe tomorrow night I'll throw a couple 3-volt batteries in my big Chuck...

I'm a little hesitant though. I find that this mod wicks better than most, but still likes a little patience between vapes. Oh, this mod makes a cart last for hours, but the bridge and atty wick still wick slowly, so one needs a little rest between vapes. I'm a constant vaper - I keep a Prodigy and Chuck at hand so one cools down while I hit the other. This allows the bridge to keep wet with the Prodigy at 5v. I'd have to remember to let the 6.4v Chuck cool down a lot, and slow my pace. So tomorrow night I'll try 6.4 volts (a fresh pair of RCR123A 3v batts) and see what happens.

Scottes, just had my HIGH Voltage morning vape.. No prob wicking as fast as you need. I took draw after draw over and over and its wicking as fast as you need! Every time i hit the button its sucking up liquid as you can verify with the hiss sound.

I dont see how you could take faster hits as you have to exhale before you can take another hit hehehe. Well, i guess you could pass it to someone else.

I'd advise testing it first on a 3.7v device first to make sure its working properly before going all out on the HIGH voltage.

I'd hook ya up if i had an envolope in the house.. Still go buy it! Unsure of how many plugs you get out of the 6 layers of foam but its gota be in the hundreds!

I know where your coming from though as i have 2 boxes of Pyramid Tea Bags, 1 box of regular tea bags, coffee filters, 8 ouches of Wool in a large bag, a bag of coffee straws and a huge bag of poly-fill. Just the price you pay to find the perfect sollution.

Here i thought i wasted $14 bucks on my bag of that Blue Foam.. 2 1/2 weeks later its now got a pernament home in my carts.

When I vape at home, I have a 5v Prodigy in one hand and a 3.7v Chuck in the other. And I've still managed to dry out the filter material.

I guess that I could trim the filter and make it a little smaller to get it to wick a little faster, but right now it's almost perfect so I don't want to screw with it. Last night I had to make another spring mod, and it took me a while to get the plug trimmed to the right size. Once I get a cart and atty vaping correctly I don't want to touch it for fear of screwing it up and starting over.
