I've noticed if i dont get the plug perfectly on there you somethings have trouble getting it to wick. Make sure to insert the plug even so its all level and the edges of the plug are not bent over. Also it will leak if you dont have all the sides flush to the cart.

Your not using a 510 cart?

The one i had trouble with wicking till i get it seated properly just lasted the longest ever! I've been vapin on this full cart for almost 4 hours now. And i think i chain vape.

Yep, I've definitely found that the foam should be flush with the cart edges before inserting into the atomizer.

I have not yet experienced any leaking.

I may still have my plug a little too large, so it might not wick as fast as yours. And/or I simply vape faster than you. So sometimes the top of the foam, where it meets the bridge, gets dry because the bridge/mesh wick faster than my foam.

I could attempt to trim the foam a little smaller, but this situation happens once or twice every day or two. I can live with that. It's better than topping off my PTB 6 or 8 times a day.

I still can't believe how great this works. I've been vaping on this cart non stop for hours. The search is definitely over!

I shaved my blue foam slightly narrow from the cart slightly shorter also..

Had some extra standard cart filler, filled the blue foam and crammed the filler to stop it up.

Juiced the filler and have been going like an angry choochoo all day.

Is anyone else noticing that after a day the atty seems like its not working as good? like it needs to be cleaned?

Here after this atty was runing awesome all day just now i went to refill it and it was barely producing any vapor. Thoght maybe the plug leaked and it was flooded i blew it out. Tried it again no good.. Changed the plug to a new plug. Same results. Cleaned the contacts of the atty and Protege connection and the same. Checked the battery level with the mult and it showed 3.7v. Checked the ohms of the atty and it read 2.7 ohms. All is good yet no vapor.

Then i said.. ok try another atty i just cleaned and bam! All good..

Funny how the 2 attys i was using the other night after the new mod seemed to need to be cleaned as well. Worked fine after cleaning though as i'm using one of those right now.

Could it be that this mod makes the atty run so rich that the attys may need to be cleaned every 24-48 hours?

    eclipse,
You may be on to something. I was starting to feel like I was losing my mind. After one day of solid blissful vaping, it kind of weakened. Changed atty and it's fine. I think you're right about it being so rich. After several hours of great vapor it needs to be cleaned I guess we'll just have to alternate atty's and clean them.

Ok.. strange. The one atty today that seemed that it needed to be cleaned is now fine. Earlier i tried blowing it out good. I've had it sitting here for a couple of hours. Then now i just blew it out again and another good chunk of juice came out of it. So i thought, lets try it again. Its now puffing fine.

So at the end of the day just blow the crap out of it and let it sit. The next morning blow it again and maybe that will be good enough to keep from cleaning it every other day. Hopefully i can stick to my once a week cleaning schedual using CREST Pro Health mothwash.

I must say, this thread is kinda funny. I have tried this blue foam mod among many others in these forums when i first started vaping. I finally concluded that the poly fill works better than any mod i have yet to find here or could come up with on my own. The trick to the poly is you have to keep it wet and if it starts to sink down in the cart you have to replace it with new poly. I wonder how many things the original inventor of these things tried before finally coming to the same conclusion? It would be very interesting to know. Of course there is always dripping/dipping if all else fails.

If the poly was the best then why are so many looking for something better? Why are most just dipping or dripping? I'll tell ya the reason why... It dont wick good and you waste juice as theres always some stuck in the bottom.

Why would so many feel that the straw mod for poly is way better? I made another mod that had a small vent in the side of the cart that also helped a ton and also prevents the poly from strinking under pressure.

Even with all that it never lasted hours like this can.
