Nope, have not left the house with one yet.. But i dont see why it would leak if you have it just right. My e-cigs are standing all the time with the cart on top. If they leak i'd know pretty soon. If they dont leak, i'm sure you could throw it across the room and pick it up and continue to vape hehe.

Ahh.. well i 'll just throw this out there. I have a magical plug that works perfectly.. so finally when it was dry i pull it out and examin it to see just why this one works great and the other dont. I notice right away that one of the sides is on an angle. I thought great.. how in a hell am i gona duplicate that hehe.

Then it dawned on me.. maybe the whole problem is that most of the plugs that i'm making to a certain size are just right so the plug sits flat in there.. meaning maybe its just not tall enough to make perfect contact with the bridge. Hell, ever notice how when it seems dry, you pull the plug out and its nice and moist? Well if it was making contact with the bridge it should suck it up. The good plug came out dry.

I thought of this when thinking that maybe that angle side is actually making it bow up a little. So i went and grabed a plug that seemed to not wick good and slapped it in there.. then i took another plug and carefully cut a sliver off one side of it.. meaning one thin layer. I added that on top of the other plug and it seemed to work good after that.

I dont know.. maybe i'm looking into it a little too much. hehe. when i get some time hopefully tonight, i'll get this figured out. Wasting alot of juice messing around with it so much.

If you can cut a ball with this stuff, test it for me hehe

Ok.. making progress now that the wife is home and i got some free time.

Just tried a longer piece. I thought since my magical plug is 11.50mm long i bet its making a rainbow shape in the cart.

So i quickly made a piece 11.50mm (About a hair shy of a 1/2 inch) long x 7mm wide. Filled a cart and slaped it in there. Puffed away for a while.. came back to it and puffed away some more.. Think i got it now!

Wish i could change the first post to reflect the new size. it wont let me edit it.

Default Try a paper hole puncher

I was just getting ready to leave the office and I thought I would see if a paper hole punch would get it the right size (using the blue scrubber material) - it does!!! Give it a try and see what you think....

PERFECT.. ran to petsmart today and got the foam because I HAD to try this, had a little trial and error on flooding the atty v. not getting enough juice, got the perfect size settled out for how I had my cart (am using the spring) and it is PERFECT. **runs off and does happy circles, lol**

Just got done eating dinner and vaped on it some more Did not leak and is puffing away stong.

I also pulled the cart off to check it out and yup, something i have not seen before. A nice indention of the atty bridge in the plug!

    Happy, happy!

Gottabefree.. Carefull with that scrubber pad stuff. I've read others say that it has abrasives in it.

Enadrown, i'm sure it would work with the spring as the plug would sit higher then normal and make good contact witht he plug. Prob is that you'll have to worry about the spring rusting and corroding. Which is why i made this mod as it dont have a spring.

Just thought I would share this with y'all! You can buy the same exact product as the OP listed for $5. Follow the link!

Too bad shipping brings it up to $10 including tax. I dunno if the $5 saved is worth the wait?!

Just cut the plug to size, fill the cart up to the lip/ledge inside the 510 cart and insert the plug in the cart horizontaly. Try your best to keep the plug flat with the edges touching the inner walls of the cart. You dont want it crooked as it might leak.. have it bunched up and it may not wick good.

The hard part is cutting the size right. I've learned that the hard way the past few days.
ok for some reason, that cleared it up for me thanks lol sometimes i can be a bit thickheaded. DH says its cause i quit smoking. thats his excuse for everything right now. i am gonna get me some fliters tonight and try it out i love this forum. you guys are so helpful
