Very simple and effective.. Take a spring from a click pen, cut or stretch it so that when placed in the cart it's about 1/4" (6mm) below the top of the cart, fill the remaining space above the spring with a plug made from your filler of choice, I'm using the regular poly, fit the plug so that it sits a little below the rim of the cart. The spring provides light constant pressure, and keeps the plug in contact with the atomizer The measurements I've given work well with my 801 low bridge, an 801 high bridge would need a shorter spring length. The optimal spring length would need to be established for other brands of atomizer. Some are concerned about corrosion of the spring, I've taken the springs from several pens and have found that some are flimsy and dark in color, which I have rejected, and others that are bright and of a heavier gauge, these are the ones I'm using. Thanks to marcus49ath for introducing the first spring mod. Good luck |

Uhh, no, The Auto Drip mod is entirely different to my mod. Very effective I'm sure, for use in 510 carts and similar, but not usable in an 801.

ahh...I see scottbee, you're in the Equipment experiments forum, I never go in there.. uhh yeah, 19 pages, anything relevant you could point me to? Now let me see, we've got scottbee in one forum inventing the spring cut sideways mod, and scottyballs in another forum inventing the same thing....yeah, no wonder we're all going round in circles here. anyway, as long as everyone's getting a good vape with springs and foam and teabags and whatnot...it's all ![]() Man, this Kiwi juice is hitting the spot tonight..woohoo! |
