was at pet smart today looking for fluval for cart mod and didn't exactly know what I was looking for...So I thought fluval name...blue foam mod...and ended up buying this fluval foam pad

working good..pretty darn juicy though..decided to put small poly plug on top. seems like the springyness of the foam is just enought to push the poly to the coil and not have the top just dripping..that foam is pretty airy.. I cut it oversized and compressed it a little.

The fluval is a different material all together than the blue foam. The thickness and texture of the holes are important for wicking. Even the foam comes in many sizes. If it works, go for it. Keep the wick wet.

I bought the same brand (Fluval) white foam only it's a different shape (oblong not square) and I like it. It works great in my 801. I also have a DSE103 (don't ask) and use it in that too. We all know how ridiculously microscopic the carts for 103's are but with the foam, I get get 20+ really good draws per refill. Don't have to do extreme mods for my 103 to get more vape time.
