    Default question about cart mod?

Hi everybody, hope your all having a great friday!

    ive another quickie question?

ive been reading up on modding the carts with foam, blue foam from petco etc..

i have been using pollyfill, and it works ok, thing is, it seems to dry out really fast, the front part nearest the atty while the bottom stays wet, and im always topping off every 30 minutes or so..

so, i thought why not try the blue aqaurium foam from petco that people seem to talk about..

but i couldnt find the blue foam, petco was out of stock of it today, but i did find white foam? its called fluval? i read the box and didnt see any chemicals on it, and i know to rinse b4 use, but im wondering is this ok to use? is this the kind of foam i should try?

    tia

Should work about the same. I would wash with hand soap and dry first. It will produce toxic fumes if it burns, so keep it about 1-2mm below the top of your cart.

Try using a smaller, looser poly fill. I use both loose poly fill and the ptb with an ADM

    Have tried that foam yet,
Let me know how it works.
I also use a straw mod, (you can find it on the forum here) with the blue foam
The blue foam was a lot better than stock fill.
The straw made a world of differnce though.
Keep the atty moist and gets all the liquid off the bottom of the cart.
