Default The Camel Pack cart mod

I have been dripping my attys for the most part, but also having good success with the ZFM, SFY and BF for vaping on the go. The only problem is the carts just don't last long enough. I own a small remodeling company and often find myself unable to fill the carts and can't stand that burnt atty taste.

So I had some extra time yesterday while watching the games. Keep in mind this is no JB or Mahmba wanna be, just something that was really cheap and easy to do. I used what I had laying around and this is what I came up with.

I had a bunch of Amazing mold putty left from the SFY mod. I rolled some out nice and smooth and wrapped it around my BSB.

Next I took a 3ml pipette and gently heated the tip so I could bend it 90 degrees.

Then I drilled a hole in the cart to accept the pipette. Drill the whole on the side without the air vent holes.

I tried all the above mods with this and had the best results with the BF because it was the most forgiving in case of an overfill, which is pretty easy to do.

It is obvious that this isn't a precision device but it gets the job done for me. I used it all day today and only flooded once and that was because I leaned on it when it was in my pocket.

SO......3mls and a freshly charged battery and I'm set for the day.

This is my first (ghetto) mod so be gentle LOL

So u just squeeze the bottle to make it auto drip? Looks like the mold putty can be used for everything! lol Great thinking, will try it out on my mod flashlight. I have a lifetime supply of the mold putty.

Yep just give a gentle squeeze until you see the liquid entering the cart. I forgot to say that if you are using a straw you will need to cut a notch in it to accept the pipette.

Mold putty = the new Duct tape

    Very interesting! Nice work.

Though for myself I wonder how people can carry around the larger PV's and mods like these. It seems like eventually we will have to strap on a packback for some of the latest and greatest :P

nice idea, but those pipettes break really fast, spilling the liquid. just be careful with it.

Thanks. I realize its not for everyone (or anyone for that mater), size may be a problem for some. I usually only use it on the job and I'm not really worried about what people think. My guys think I'm crazy anyway so whats the difference. No more dripping or messing with the carts for me. Just fill it in the am and forget it, 3mls is enough for me in a day.

I really don't see how the pipette could break, its so flexible. You can basically tie it in a knot and it won't break, just kink the tube. Does it get brittle over time?

Any ideas what a good substitute for the pipette could be?

I was thinking about using a 3ml bottle with a tube coming out of the cap, but it was just going to make it even more bulky. Maybe some kind of rubber/plastic bladder?
