No. Why would you want a shorter cart?

I was thinking that I would want one longer to hold more e-liquid.

It should be fairly easy to do. Pop out the two inserts from the mouth end, then use a sharp blade to cut it down to within a couple of millimeters of the reservoir bottom if you wanted to pop the outer insert back in (or flush with the reservoir bottom if not). This would definitely increase the likelihood of getting juice in your mouth.

I drip straight through a gutted cart, and I don't really need the entire length. I only use the cart to keep my lips off the warm atty... just a mouthpiece, really. This would make sense if I cared about a few millimeters of excess length.

    "outer insert", heheh.

The reason I ask about a SHORTER cart is because I wanted to try my hand at a mod using a feed system and therefor I wouldn't need the cart to hold the liquid. And for what I have in mind every mm of length matters. I'm actually trying to cut >1/4" off the length of the atty/cart combo.

Thanks all for the replies, I'll try cutting into one and see how that goes.

Totally do-able, then. Remove inserts, then drill/cut out the bottom of the reservoir, leaving a more or less hollow tube, then cut it down to size.

Or skip the cart altogether, and use something else. You could shove the rubber grip from an ink pen over the atomizer, and cut it to within a couple of millimeters of the atomizer, extending the atty by only that amount.
