Blue Foam Users.....

How long do you use your foam plug before you discard it?
I rinse mine out after every use, but Im figuring I cant use them forever... does anyone have a somewhat approximate usage period? Thanks!

You just might be able to use them forever, unless you put an open flame to it, lol. I've been using mine for about 2 months and they're still like new.

when i change flavors i toss it or if it stops wicking good.. it gets tossed unless i happen to be out somewhere and do not have another piece on me..

What exactly is this blue foam mod?

Can I use it with an eGo with automatic batteries or would I run the risk of flooding the battery?

I will rinse mine out probably every week when I clean my attys. I just started the blue foam mod today and it's the best yet, better than the PTB mod in my opinion, it holds more juice and I'm loving it.

I've been using it for a week using the dart mod method. It works incredibly well. I just blot mine dry with a paper towel when I refill to remove the darkened juice.

oso: Look in the modders section for cart mods. There are a few ways to use the blue foam. I found the BFD works best for me. You can use it with your auto batteries just fine. It may take a little trial and error to get it just right. Don't put the cone on your eGO until your sure you have just the right amount of foam and it doesn't flood your atty. I've had no problems.

I rinse them when they start to get "gunky" - every few days, maybe, or once a week, and I'm a heavy vaper. I've been using the blue foam plugs for about 4 months, and I love the way they wick - full vape until the cart's empty. I lose them sometimes, but never had to throw one out - I just rinse thoroughly in very hot water, and they're good as new.

I boil my carts, silicon condoms, and blue foam... so far, all the gunk dissolves out of them. About 3 - 5 minutes in a full rolling boil, all clean! Even the smell of Atomic Fireball comes out after boiling.
