Default Blue Foam gives a much harsher th??

Just started using the blue type u filter yesterday and I noticed the TH is much more harsh with it. Feels like I've been smoking reds

Anyone else get this or do I need to try washing my foam better?

Nope i started using BF since I started vaping and never had a harsh TH unless I let it get to dry. How long is your foam, I know people here say to have it recesed in a littel but i usually just leave it level with the top. This pushes in and make the BF wrap around the bridge.

Gonna chalk this up to allergies acting up. Breathing through 1 side of my nose thanks to all the hot-cold-hot-cold weather past couple days. Guess it finally got me and just happened to be on the same day I switched to bf. Oo

i tried the scotchbrite and got a nasty throat hit, is it possible that these materials are burning when contacting the hot atty?

I use Blue Foam and have never gotten a harsh TH. Might be your foam is to far out and burning on the atomizer, drying out the very tip of the foam before it can wick.

I dont think they actually make contact with the atomizer portion. The bridge gets in the way. The reason the original filler does this is because it is usually fiber. The reticulated foam is much more solid. The only way I can see this getting to the hot part of the atty is if you shoved it there.
