Thanks values84, I PM'd you. For anyone who reads this post >> I'm no longer using the syringe method - just topping off old cartridges. So I'm no longer interested in the exchange I posted. Thanks.

Cindy: I, too, stopped filling cartridges with a syringe. WAY too much trouble -- and danger. I top up now from an eyedropper. But I use the syringe to squeeze fluid from used cartridges, so it's still around (put away where kiddie hands can't discover it). Still, I can't wait to board an airplane with my battery-powered, button-controlled metal tube, packed into a case next to my hypodermic syringe and bottle of pig-pee colored liquid.

I've been experimenting more in the last 48 hrs and found topping off is just as effective as TB and Mr.Darcy have said. Besides, I figured there's no way when I go out I'm going to bring a syringe, a bottle and my ecigs and have to be concerned about rinsing the syringe. So I am perfecting the technique of topping off.

I do a bit of both. When I'm home, I'll use the syringe, but I drip onto the cartridge when I'm out and about.

I do have a flavor injector (that I bought from walmart) to squeeze liquid from old cartridges.

Karen, you squeeze the liquid out of a cartridge after you're done with it? It looks kinda brown and not very appetising....... It's okay to do this?

| Super Member | I do if I want to change flavors. Not all are brown either. And usually, I run them under a little water after I've squeezed them and then squeeze the excess water out. I don't know if it's "ok" to do this, but I DO do this. and the e-cig police hasn't beat down my door. And I haven't damaged anything. The wool came out a couple of times, but if I shove it in there as tight as possible, it doesn't happen much.
