Default How long can you leave a tank sit ??

Just was thinking tonight....... Is there any issues with leaving a tank sit for a day, or more ?

Just wondering if i should dump out tanks were not using daily. Started with just 2 CE-4's Now have 5 of them and 2 Evod's. I switch out 2 tanks during the day depending on what i want to vape. But my wife tends to just stick to one tank and mixes flavors to see if any combos seem good.

    Thoughts on it ?

No way! I've let tanks sit literally months with no problems. If anything, the juice just keeps aging in the tank.

That's kind of along the lines of a question I was thinking of asking. I understand the liquid would be fine, but what about the wick? Do certain wicks deteriorate over time if they are immersed in a tank of eliquid?

I have noticed certain juice will clog the wicks and coils as they are unused and sit. You will know that's happening as you go through it. Or it won't happen and ur good. That's how my protank minis and Evods are.

Ah, good to know. I just got back from a 10 day trip and was wondering if I could use a 80% VG/20% water tank I left.

I have an Evod that I only use once a week and don't have any problems. I have a Carto tank that gets about the same amount use, no issues there either.

I think i can usually leave a tank alone for about 1 minute... unless I'm sleeping. If I'm sleeping i probably leave it alone for 6-8 hours.

If you ever get into rebuilding coils and use an organic material like cotton or hemp, you can run into issues as they will rot/decay. I'm not sure how long cilica lasts, but probably long enough that none of us will ever find out.

I've not seen any thing wrong with leaving tanks sit for a period of time..... I usually make up a weeks worth of tanks for work on Sunday and they all are fine by the time I use my last one on Friday.

I always check the 510 connection or pin on a tank before I put it on a device, some of them may have a drop of eliquid on there if they sit for a while but other than that I have tanks I just keep topping off and vaping for weeks at a time.

I've left CE4s wet for six months, found them and vaped them with no issues. I have not done that with cotton wicks, but I doubt they would deteriorate in six months.

I try to be a bit careful with old mixed juices and flavorings generally. PG is good for five years at room temperature. VG is good for two years. Flavorings could be less though, so I try to not buy more of those or mixed juice (when I was buying that) than I will use in a year.
