Can I add nicotine to your 5ml sampler set?
Hi, I am new to vaping and want to try a load of different flavours out. So I saw this:
C9V E-liquid 5ml Sampler Set - extended
on your website and though it was great. Only issue is that there is no Nicotine in them. So my questions is if I can just buy a big bottle of your DIY Nicotine liquid and mix it myself?
If so, please let me know what to go for and how much to add into each 5ml sampler bottle.
Thanks in advance!

Hi jibblet, sorry for the late reply to your question. Yes of course you may add nicotine to these little tester bottles, just be aware that it will weaken the flavour somewhat, depending on how much you add. Can't tell you how much to add unless I know what strength nic liquid you will be adding, and what strength you are trying to achieve.

Thanks for getting back to me. I want about 16mg nicotine. It look like I only have the option of buying your Neat54 Nicotine, do you have any others?
If I got the sample bottles and the neat liquid, would I have to add a VG or PG liquid to it as well?
As you can tell I am completely new to all of this. I would appreciate any help you can give, my main priority is to try out a load of different flavours without the cost being too high.

I messed around with your calculator, that is very clever. Thanks for your help.

Glad you like it - it's as simple as I could make it (there are very much more complex ones out there when the time comes for you to experiment more. )

Hi Lisa
I have just purchased your favour pack. I noticed that most recipies suggest about 10 - 15% flavourings, but reading this post I realise (if I have understood correctly) that your taster pack are not concentrated, which may explain why I have not been getting as strong a flavour as i would have expected - I have been using the calculators on www.e-liquid-recipies.com - I have just remixed adding more concentrate and not surprisingly they taste a whole lot better.
Quick question on mixing - I have been diluting my VG by 30% with Vodka - as it is so thick I cannot even get it into my syringe. How it is best to reflect this in my calculations to ensure i get everything in the correct proportions?

btw. Chocolate with cream makes a delicious hot choc vape! yum!

Hiya Micky,
Indeed, the taster pack is zero nicotine (for legal reasons as it's impossible to fit all the legally required information on those small bottles unless we have those costly fold-out labels which would make the whole kit prohibitively expensive for you).
if you wish to put a bit of nicotine in them without impacting the flavour quite so much, you might want to try a very strong nicotine liquid such as NEAT54 so that you will not have to put too much in to achieve a decent level.
On the DIY mixing, you can dilute your VG first with vodka or de-ionised water to get it to the consistency you want, and then use whatever percentage of that resultant mixture you require in your recipe. Alternatively, some calculators allow for an extra diluent of your choice to be added to the recipe, but I think if I was using a higher VG percentage, I'd dilute it first.
I usually never use more than about 5-10% VG in my own mixes, so I find the extra thickness a bonus if anything.
choc and cream, mmmmmmmmmmmm yum!

Thanks Lisa
That's really helpful. Actually I ordered loads of 54mg from you last week so now armed with your assurances I have been mixing happily away for the past few daysi have also now reduced my VG and everything tastes much better. I think if I want VG I might just use some of my VG 54mg nicotine too.
I hope you are feeling better and get your website upand running soon as I need to order a couple more atty's as I have gone through two in 12 days (is this normally for a newbie?).
One last question (you are going to be able to guess who I am now) - I would like to get a "cone" thing for my ego batteries for when I use a 510 atty - please can you point me toward the right product? I think i may have found them in the page on your website in the ego-c stuff and also for the A tank system - is this the same thing?
Many thanks
