    ok so I just tried hitting it and it got SUPER HOT and smelled strange.. the BASE got super hot not the ODy.. any help would be appreciated!

    You have a short.

    Do your adapters have rubber pieces in them or are they all metal.

    If the base of the GGTS is getting hot it's a problem.
    Way too much to list and keep track of...Vaping gear, it comes and goes, but whatever keeps you off cigarettes is the best equipment you can own.

    yea down by the switch assembly got super hot...they have rubber pieces in them..

    Then there is your problem. The adapters with rubber pieces have caused shorts for a lot of people. The GGTS makes solid connections and puts a lot of pressure on the adapters with rubber/silicone causing them to short at times.

    If you're going to use adapters buy a few metal ones and save yourself a lot of grief, burned springs and possibly other much worse battery problems.

    I posted in the forum here with a bunch of links to adapters. There is also a link to pictures on the GGWIKI site done by Ariel_MX which has pictures of how all the adapters work out in a GGTS. All those adapters are metal.

    Yeah bad adapter fried my battery spring. They just came back into stock though!

    K got it to work. thanks for the help.. I have a .8 ohm coil until I can get new batteries for 6v

    What exactly is the benifit of reaching for the extreme limits of a chemical power source? I know your dentist is hoping you goof up and exceed it. The FDA wouldn't mind either me thinks. The rest of us are hoping you don't become another negitive news story about how dangerious Vaping is.

    Guys as an update, we have more engraved tubes coming in, when we get them in we will send them to you with a return envelope for the scratched tubes.
