Post pictures of your working wick and coil setup-coil.jpg

    .8 Ribbon wire
Dual Micro Coil on cotton wick.
    .4-.5 ohms.

This thing fires so hard that I need to cover half of outer coil with cotton wick.

OMG This thing burns and burns with no dry hit.

This is on my Genesis RBA.

This is interesting. How is cotton sick working out? ANY OVER WICKING ISSUE?

What juice mix are you using?

    The "semi"

I am using this on an Alice In Vapeland juice that I have grown to love, but has always been far more enjoyable from a cartomizer. This elevated build brings the air directly under the coil increasing the TH drastically, while cutting away some of the sweetness that is over-pronounced from other coil styles.

In essence, it is bringing out the nice blackberry flavor, but eliminating the "perfume-like" taste that you will hear people describe from AiV juice.

In essence, I think I have finally found a build that gives me that rounded flavor of a carto, but the TH and heat of a rebuildable.

That looks cool and similar to the SS setup I ran in the reomizer v1. But the TH that this would produce on the RM2 because of the air hole placement would kill me!

I know this isn't the microcoil thread but I'll ask for advice here anyway since you guys are familiar with my level (and lack of) skill:

I can make a tight wrap using a screwdriver, but even when I compress this and hit it with my el-cheapo torch from fasttech, it won't hold its form. So I wind up with like 8 very neat and uniform coils, which is nice, but the resistance is like 5 friggin' Ohm. Do I just need a better torch?

If the diameter on the screwdriver is 1/16", 8 wraps should be at 1.6 or 1.7 Ohm.

If the torch is able to heat up the coil enough that it glows red it's not that. What gauge wire are you using? Also, what is the diameter or the screwdriver you are wrapping around? Sorry if you posted that info earlier and I missed it.

Also, are you annealing the wire before you wrap it or only after?

I ruined my dual coil build trying to change the wick this morning. So, I built this:

8 wraps 30g, 1.6ohms. Flavor was better with dual coils, anyone care to explain why that is?
