Not as much vapor as when it is closer. I am going to build another with longer legs to try and get it closer to the air hole. The flavor is there without a doubt.
My second coil... Cotton wicking is so cheap there really is no point in extending the wick's life beyond a couple days.

This thread is making me want to go rebuild my micro coils just for kicks.
VAPE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT AND WHEN IN DOUBT, SQUONK.
It's like I see something and I want to try it. I only started vaping a month ago and micro coils were just seeming to catch some big popularity so most of the coils I've built have been micros. I haven't dipped into the sub ohm world since I don't have a mech yet.
But my 1.6ohm micro on my aga t works like a thing of beauty. I would add a photo but the carbon makes it a little tough to see the 10 wraps on SS mesh.
Thanks for the inspirations for my igo L this week though!
Here's an update on my 15/16 coil wrapped on a jumbo paperclip after 2 days on the same cotton ball wick. The cotton disintegrated where it goes into the wick. I think I will have to go with a 16 wrap with an opening at the end. Don't have pics sorry it happened at work last night. I get my IGO-W today and more wire so I will definitely be experimenting after work.
