Start leaving him a note with what as to be done that day.Sit it next to his coffee and grab your coat and leave. Then...See what happens...He might just do it.

You have to do that otherwise they sit on the couch and watch you work after you have already worked all day. I have to say my husband is a neat freak and I'm a slob. What doesn't matter to me matters to him and he will clean,He cusses the whole time but it's worth it.He used to get mad about the way I folded his clothes finally I told him to do it himself and now he does, He really cleans when he's mad. My sister would ask me to come over with him and make him mad so he would clean her house. He's done that too. LOL
    Actually he's a big help.

How old are you Bliss? I started losing my reading sight mid 40's but I wasn't doing any kind of close up work to strain my eyes.
Funny story: My best friend wore glasses from 5th grade on and when she got older she of course like everyone needed reading glasses as well.So he got the progressives. About 6 months ago her eyes like went bad overnight. Her glasses did nothing to help and she got scared and of course made an appt with the ophthalmologist. He kept asking how long she had been wearing glasses and she told him since elementary school. He kept retesting her eyes with glasses on and glasses off. Finally after she told him she was getting a little scared he said. :"This is unbelievable"
"Your eyesight is perfect" You needn't wear you glasses for reading or driving. They are 20/20.
Sure enough she no longer has need of her glasses. What a happy ending. LOL
Wow that is a happy ending!

I'm 36 years old. My mom's thing happened to her 2 weeks after she turned 40 and now she wears glasses all the time not just for reading. My maternal grandma and great grandma both wore them all the time too. I figure it is bound to happen to me. Just weird how it seems to have developed over night. I am sure that recent weeks are playing in to it too, just seems too coincidental and I don't believe in coincidences

I don't mind grocery shopping, I just hate the other customers in the grocery store. Seriously, who thinks it's okay to just stop dead right in the middle of an aisle and then pretends to be deaf when you excuse yourself to get by?

I can't stand the grocery store either. We do most of our major shopping at Sam's once a month and try to avoid going to the grocery store as much as possible. Sam's has nice big aisles and big carts to "accidentally" run into the people that still manage to block the aisle

I hate broken ribs. Nothing you can do about it. I can't count how many times I've broken ribs. I split my sternum once, that was a nightmare. I had to sleep in a chair for about 3 weeks.

Ouch, that sounds really painful. It could just be a bruise for me, it's hurting a whole lot less today. Just when I move the wrong way now, and it's closer to my spine too, so maybe that's a plus. More stability there or something...
