Morning Posse. It's a beautiful day out and I am celebrating the hint of Spring with housework...Someone's got to do it.The couch has longer hair than I do...

She's dream of the same guy walking into Kathryn's bedroom (that one was before the other two were born) with the knife. I keep trying to convince her its a necessity. I dont need an arsenal, but I would love to have a Berretta M9 and a 12ga for home defense. Of course Ive also said that they would stay locked up in a safe with trigger guards. But its still a no go. There are very few things that she truly puts her foot down and says no to. This is one of them though.

Im not so sure. Its set up with a smaller grip for women, and she had a solid and proper grip on it. I think its just simply the fact she is so uncomfortable with any firearms that she just wanted an excuse to not shoot.
I have a taurus pt101. Its their version of the M9 in .40.

That's possible too but if she thought it kicked harder than the semi then it might be the grip. Those smaller grips are also harder to hold and the revolver geometry is all different. I'm lucky, my wife took to it and really enjoys it. She,bugs me about when we are going to go to the range.

All this talk of shooting makes me want to take her back to the range again... My ex-stepdad still has the .38 Lady Smith that my mom used to love. Im going to see if I can borrow that along with his .45 1911. Though I think it would be hilarious to put a 12ga on her shoulder. Reminds me when we had a chick on the ship that was sent on temp orders to the ships self defense force. We had to qual with the M9, 12ga, and M14 (I LOVED shooting the M14. Its just awesomeness with a barrel!). Anywho, With the 12ga we had to shoot standing (from shoulder and hip), sitting (shoulder), kneeling (shoulder). And the M14 same positions, plus prone, minus the hip shot. From standing, even with a solid stance, it knocked her on her butt from the shoulder. From sitting, it would rock her to her back. We had to have an instructer stand behind her and brace her to she didnt fall over. Then when we stood to shoot from the hip, she had too loose of a grip, and it shot backwards out of her hands. Did I mention shes about 4'10" and maybe 90lbs?

*peek* working over here. Glad it is not dead. I thought I did it in this time. And it was Sallie's turn to kill it.

    Awesome..grats!!!

I've played trombone and guitar, neither one very well, and we're talking about getting a gun for the house as well. My dad was a big collector, so I'm familiar, but still want to take some training classes with the Wife! (Love saying that)

You are welcome. We are really sorry for the mix up, Mr. V didn't realize that I had put the XL's in stock. Shame on me.

Morning posse! I wanna go shooting again with Morgan's uncle. And I want a .22 pistol. I'm not a big fan of shooting a rifle, I think just because I'm so little and my arms are short and the rifles are so long. I need a kid's size or something
