It mustve been a Monday yesterday. It was a slow posting day on the thread. Poor VV trying to revive it all by her lonesome. I never came back in last night to say good night. Mrs E went to work for a little bit after we got the kids to bed, and she came home to me snoring on the couch. I dont even remember dozing off.
This morning, I changed my routine up ever so slightly. I decided to let the dogs out while I ate my banana for breakfast outside. Normally, Mrs E does that after I leave for work. As I was about to head out the door, CJ woke up and started his day bouncing off the walls as usual, which will normally wake the girls up. But their door was still closed as I headed out the door. I get in my work van and start it, and I see Melanie and Charli watching me out the door. So, I got back out and went to the door to give her a hug goodbye, and she had tears in her eyes. I asked her why she was crying and she said "I dont know." I said are you sure? She said, no... So why are you crying? Because I thought you were leaving without saying I love you.... My heart melted and broke at the same time. I didnt matter that she was still in bed when I walked out the door. She just knew she wasnt getting her hug and kiss good bye. But she was all smiles running back through the house to start her day.
My inlaws came over yesterday. I get along better with my inlaws than I do my own parents. Anywho, FiL was in the hospital Friday to have his gall bladder removed, so we were dog sitting. Their dog doesnt care for Charli, but she and Cocoa are sisters, just from a different litter. So they came by yesterday to pick her up. My MiL said Charli was ugly. And that she gets uglier the bigger she gets. "Her fur is all scraggly, and shes got mismatched colors!" Thanks Ma. Arent you just a sweetheart.
I will NOT! At least not this time...

Yeah, NOW who's facepaming themselves?!?!? Mrs E wouldve left the butt print and called it a faux finish.
Pits are easily one of my favorite dogs. Next dog will be either a pit or german shepard.
