I thought heating/cooling strengthened metal, not carbonizing it ?? In the Zen vid he uses pure PG or VG burns it, and repeats a few times. I know that he said his method adds carbon to the wick, but what does wetting/drying do ?

What do you mean fiddle ?? I've been going through boxes over here, and NOW (that I have replaced my lost tank/carto filing tool), haven't had to fiddle with anything. Give me some details please.

    No ma'am.

Yeah, Shes not happy about being in any of the pix, but made me not use several of them. Im actually surprised she didnt make me take out more of them.

So, here is the link. Please consider yourselves warned. There are pix of me, which do include the aforementioned hairy moobs (aka He-Hooters). Clicking on the following link constitutes a binding contract and you can not hold me responsible for any nausea, vomiting, cold sweats, or nightmares which may follow viewing said pictures.

Of course, I had to include the pix of the sunrise on the beach. The clouds kinda messed it up a bit, but I think they came out ok.

Hope everyone's doing well, fell behind about a day and half, and with the forums running very slow, VERY painful to even LIKE, let alone catch up or post.

One of our cats threw us a curve ball and this morning wife found him laying, almost motionless on front door mat, something wasn't right. I leave very early in the morning, didn't see anything. She panic called me, thought he was dead. We have no children, so our cats ARE our babies, and I was 2 hours away, and powerless. Very bad feeling. The cat Francis has an issue with crystals in his urine, so special (always the highest priced food, go figure) PH food. The problem is if the crystal start to build up, they can block urine flow, and the bladder just keeps expanding until (you fill in the blank). Luckily she saw him, called multiple vets, and only ONE could take emergency walk in. He seemed to be almost totally gone, and the "new" employee basically either wanted a $900.00 deposit, or to talk about euthanasia. Not a people person to say the least.

Well 900.00 dollars later, cat is sedated, cathodized, and they were able to release some urine. Now he's got to stay there for at least 48 hours, while they watch, and we get racked up for the night stays (which is fine), but painful for cash strapped folks like us.

Waiting for a call now, to see if x-rays showed anything, so not much posting here. Like to everyone, and out to SP, I FINALLY have some PIE in my Phiniac. Fresh carto, clean tank, full, big battery, and I'm going out to the pool to contemplate how I'm going to handle Francis's medical situation. Thus far, I have to say the PIE is DELISH.

504's suck (been there done that), and for you non-techie's.......

    Fixing 504 errors - general

This problem is entirely due to slow IP communication between back-end computers, possibly including the Web server. Only the people who set up the network at the site which hosts the Web server can fix this problem.

    Fixing 504 errors - CheckUpDown

Use of proxies and caching is increasing on the Web. Our CheckUpDown robot will always try to 'drill through' to the real computer that actually hosts the Web site, but we do not have complete control over where our HTTP request actually ends up. If only one link in the chain of computers dealing with our HTTP request is broken, then an error such as 504 can easily occur.
Add another box to the cluster ECF, or rack up some caching, so I can speeeeeeeeed like (and post) please.

I guess kind of the same thing?? Also, I was referring to wicks not made by Zen. Those you just wrap with Kanthal and vape! I had to set up my Line v.1 from scratch though, and that was how they said to do it, and it works pretty well.

What you are really aiming for is to get a bit of coating on the mesh, otherwise it can short to the body and wire. Some people also refer to it as "annealing" the mesh. The definition helps explain it a lot better.

Sorry to hear about your cat..Vet's are sooo expensive...My Daughter in Law will be a vet about this time next year...It's her last year and she's already been offered a partnership in Cincinnati..She's originally from Nashville so I'm not sure whether she will take Cincinnati.
