Swap ashcap for clear lense?

No, but I did this a while back. If you want a much brighter LED and to change the look of your 510, you can too- for free.

I think a frosted lens would look a lot better, as it would diffuse the light from the LED, and you wouldn't see the circuit board. I think it would also make for a better overall look for the e-cig (grey plastic is kind of "bleh").

a really easy way to do that is to use a fine sandpaper and lightly buff the lens in one direction, it will give a frosted look

You can also try painting the inside of the lens with a polish or paint to give a semi-translucent coloured glow, i think it would look cool with maybe pink or blue glow in the dark
