Default Heat treated k-100 Must See!!

After reading up on heat treating here on ecf last night, I decided to go for it on my k-100, and here are the results.
Supplies used, my kitchen stove, a old wire hanger.
I simply took off the parts that I wanted to treat, cleaned them, and applied flame from my stove. I am beyond happy with the results, and it sparked my curiosity to try with different parts for different times, and try different techniques.

very nice, I have thread in here also where i stripped off the chrome and also powder coated my k100.

It also intrigues me that the chrome plating did that with heat treatment. My only thought was to just sand all my off lol.

As am I grobbins, I didn't have the means to strip off the chrome platting, and was unsure of the result until I had said result. Luckily it worked out and didn't end up looking like a pos. Ill have to find yours and see what it looks like =] happy vaping

Looks great! It's fun, isn't it? I'm going to be torching my Kraken clone tank cover tomorrow.. going for the orange/bronze color. When you start to get the hang of it, it almost feels like you're brushing color on with the flame.

Was bored again and, went for the upper body. Not as thrilled with it but hey, at least it's a clone.
-edit- I was unhappy with the look, so I brushed to get my SS color back, may consider baking it at 475 for a few hours to achieve a golden to golden brown color, Not quite sure yet.
