    Default U.S. Smoke-free by 2020

I just heard on the news....Headline News HLN, that the U.S.will be entirely smoke free by 2020. She didn't say it would be illegal...just smoke-free.

Just heard another report....now she says no smoking INDOORS by 2020. But, as you probably know, most employers include the parking lot as INDOORS.

We will never be smoke free, too much money in big tobacco, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, the list goes on and on.

Nope. That's never going to happen. Ever. The government taxes the ..... out of cigarettes. That tobacco in those 20 cigarettes is not worth $7 (average price a pack where I'm from). Cigarettes will still be approved by the FDA in ten years, And those guys need ti=o sort their priorities...

I've heard this same crap since 1979. Back then, we'd be smoke free by the year 2000.
Every few years, some anti-tobacco lobby will recount their wet dream to the press, and the press parrots it on a slow news day. Yawn.
