My hydra is arriving tomorrow, and I just placed an order for the tiamat. I chose priority mail in hopes that it gets shipped out tomorrow so I can have it in my hands by Saturday.

thats great news! gnormly, you're awesome bro! You always get stuff before the other vendors, and you don't even hype us up about it, you just post it up when its in. They almost got their first order from me, but that was two weeks ago when they announced they'll be getting these units to no avail. Great work bro! That's why you're getting most of my business.

My impression with all of these CHiDs, Phoenixes, etc. is that the manufacturers just put a hole in the cap wherever it happens to lie when they drop it into their drilling jig or whatever. These things are built fast so they can be sold cheap. (~$150.00 will get you a Cobra where, out of the box, you can put the hole exactly where you want every time.) Like gormly says, there are simple workarounds. Give me a tank with 2 holes in the top and a hot center post and I'll make it Genesis .

Looks good to me. Hopefully they're not sold out tomorrow.
