    Exclamation avoid bestesmoking.com

this supplier is out of china. my MIL, who has started her own business selling e-cigs, ordered 20 starter kits and multiple refill cartridges and bottles of e-liquid totaling over $800. Supplier only accepts payment via Western Union or bank transfer...ordered paid by W.U. When order was received it only contained 10 started kits, no refill cartridges, no e-liquid, and over half of the batteries are no good. Before initial order was placed, Tony (the contact point) responded to emails within minutes. After they received the money, he stopped responding to emails. One of the listed phone numbers is disconnected and the other just rings with no answer. I contacted him through his email pretending to be interested in purchasing and he responded immediately and gave me another phone # which I relayed to my MIL. She called him, he promised to send out the rest of her shipment immediately and to email her a tracking number. He lied. Since then there has been no further responses from the company.

Default Smoking Everywhere Did me wrong

The company Smokingeverywhere.com jerked me over but good. I ordered a complete kit and accessories online. It totaled over $200.00. When I recieved my kit it wasn't what I ordered. A note included in the box said I was given an upgrade (I guess they choose people at random to give upgrades to - even though it was the first time I did business with them). The Gold E-Cig didn't work all that well even after fully charging it. Half the cartridges I ordered didn't work. I ordered additional cartridges for the Gold E-Cig... The Cartridges they sent do not fit!!!
They have no refund policy, but have assured me I can send back the non working or the incorrect cartridges... and wait 10 days for them to unravel their mess and send me back their crummy product.

Poor customer service. Slimy Business Practices. Don't get involved with this company.

These warnings seem to belong on this thread:

If you take a look around, you will see a bunch of suppliers (both paying and non-paying ones) who come in here and promote products that they are: 1) willing to guarantee so if something "goes bad", they can help you out 2) willing to answer members' questions about 3) willing to post sales that are beneficial to members 4) willing to offer competitive prices so members here don't fell like they are overpaying or being "ripped off".

Most of these suppliers have worked hard to establish their sites and maintain them for the benefit of members here. By doing that, they get business...and everyone is happy. One hand washes the other, so to speak.

So enter blu. All of a sudden, 42 pages of the same thing over and over: "I just got my blu and it's great"; or "I just ordered mine and can't wait to get it; or "Great customer service"; or "It sounds good....I'm thinking of ordering one too!"

So where is the registered supplier (Fiap) through all of this? You mean to tell me, you are a supplier with a huge audience like that, and you don't present yourself here....to represent your product like the other suppliers do? You just sit there and let everything run hog wild?

I contacted her and asked her to post in the suppliers forum so we could refer these members to her and get some control over this "mass posting". She said "Great!" but obviously did not follow through. And we found other IPs associated with her which she said were co-workers. So they are all sitting here watching all this unfold with not even a peep about it. Now does that sound like good business practice to you?

There had to be 50 new members on that thread that night. So where are they now? All the ones who were so "gaga" over the blu.....where are they now? Have they joined the blu forum? Ummm...not hardly!

Because they were not newbs interested in this product....they were promoting it by continually posting. For what gain? We have over 10,000 members here! That's quite a market to advertise to, isn't it?

Then more one line threads start popping up....just more and more free advertising for them.

So were there no legit members interested in the blu? No...I can't say that...but for the handful that are...we cannot (and will not) allow 50 more to come on and spam a product that a supplier has no interest in promoting via the rules of the forum here.

So when blu wants to come on and support their potential customers by providing an introduction, an idea of their products so buyers know what they are getting and customer service here, then the blu will be welcome to be advertised as any other ecig. But until then, ECF will not be a free advertising vessel for them with no representation, or work, on their part.

So don't expect to see any support for this product here.

After the blu forum gets up and running for a bit, I am going to go back to that 42 page thread...and all those one liner threads...and see who really was interested in the product...and who just dropped off the face of the planet after they made their little spiel there. It won't be hard to tell.

I truly hope this cleared this up a bit more.

As the e-cigarette explodes in popularity, so does the number of people trying to make money from it. Some suppliers resort to nefarious means to promote their products. Unfortunately it is not always possible for the forum moderators to find these members.

Without wishing to cause alarm, I just want members to take what they read with a pinch of salt when reading others' posts promoting e-cig companies, especially if that user has only made a small number of posts.

One way members might want to check the veracity of a user's contribution is by looking at their past posts. This is very easy - just do the following:

    1. Click on the user name by the side of the post
    2. Select "view public profile" from the drop-down list
    3. Click "Statistics" then "find all posts by XXX"
    4. Take a look at their past posts and make your judgement

Also, if anyone is suspicious about a user, please use the "report post" function - this is a little triangle under the user's avatar, and it immediately sends a report to the forum moderators where they can take the appropriate action.

    Many thanks,

    SmokeyJoe

Question need a moderator answer, PLEASE???

ok, I hope I did this right when trying to quote prior posts. Kate and Smokey Joe, after reading your posts here, I'm under the impression that it IS ok to promote the products that you sell. Am I correct in this? I have sent my MIL a link to the forum because I found it very informative and thought she could use some of the information I've seen posted so she does not end up getting scammed again when buying her products. But I told her that I didn't think she could promote her own products, that it was for voicing concerns with certain companies and telling of experiences good or bad when dealing with e-cig suppliers. so before i get either of us in trouble by posting something we shouldn't, would you please clarify the rules on this for me? thank you.

Mrshelmer, to promote any products on ECF, you must contact SJ to obtain supplier status. PM SmokeyJoe....he'll get you set up.

    And good luck!

I'm not with any company but I have found that ruyandirect in China, vaporcountry and nuvape in the US have all made the customers and me very happy. fast shipping and great customer service and phenomenal prices. Now your always gonna have bad experiences somewhere with most companies but try and do your research before purchasing. I did my research and checked every web site available to find the best prices and the best review and not to plug these companies but these above are what I was happiest with.

SambucaLu, thank you for the information. the last thing i want to do is spam the site or get myself banned. i'll pass that info along to my MIL. i think she will definitely be interested. she's just getting started and the last supplier she went through really scammed her, so she's in the process of getting stocked up through another supplier.

To whoever it was, or all that were involved in the process, that originally came up with this forum, thank you. the information and knowledge we've gained from here has been tremendous.
