    Thumbs down Buyer Beware

If your going to buy wholesale stick with kanger and beware of people just selling a good suppliers products no matter what they claim . huaqi-cn is a place to avoid as they honor nothing and cannot get a simple order straight also there price/product is the same as kanger just with there own header. I recieved clearly deffective products and this supplier even said they had major issues in design and quality but refused to do anything. Good thing I did not take the bait with a large order so my loss is mininal and the screwed up kanger product I did recieve off set the loss. I was going to post my horor story in alot of detail but its best to cut this short and move on with life as this persons bizz is clearly a sham .Lessons learned - do not buy anything with a HQV9x part number

    Default Faulty products from TECC

The same guys who owns the company also owns Totally Wicked and it seems people have been having similar problems with them.

When people complain in the subforum posts and threads are deleted.

It is disgusting. I cannot recommend either in any shape or form.
I have also received a faulty product from TECC - (Mini-Pipe) I have sent them several emails, a "private message" I have used their own contact form.... sent back the faulty item... ( In September) but still nothing...

If you give your money to TECC, they will take it - no problem. But don't expect any service - just hope that they don't ship you a faulty product as they seem very good at avoiding any warranties.

    Default Eluma .....awful customer service!

Hello... Brand new to this forum, but really wish I would I would have found this before buying my Eluma's.

I have NEVER been so angry and insulted as I was, after dealing with a rep from Eluma.

    Here's my story:

I ordered my E's on Nov 3rd. Please note, I paid the extra $10 to have them shipped faster (LOL....YEA RIGHT). My order said "As stated on our site, due to high demand for ELUMA, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery". Well, after receiving no updates from them, I decided to email them on Nov 14th @ 8am (which by the way was a Saturday....keep this in mind). I was very nice and just asked what the status was of my order. I received a response @ 2pm saying the item had been shipped.
So I though GREAT , they are finally on their way.
Well, after waiting 7 more days (for my expedited shipping...YEA RIGHT), I decided to email them again; and again I was absolutely professional.

Well, I got a response saying "First let us assure you that in no way are we holding your order or your order is being delayed as a result of some sort of negligence on our part. Our distribution staff gives 110% every day to ensure they exceed expectations however certain circumstances our completely out of our control. Such as in your orders case, sometimes lengthy transit times occur as a result of shipments being stuck in transit(ie: customs, etc). Please note that although your order was expected ship sooner than today as a result of these unexpected delays we mentioned it may take a little longer. Fortunately we can accept responsibility for other extenuating circumstances and give you 10 additional cartridges FREE of charge in your order for this inconvenience".

Then, within 1/2 hour, I received a response saying the order had been shipped, and to disregard this email. You guessed it, I emailed them again and said I'm confused, can you please explain why I spent the extra $10 for shipping if it was going to take this long? Again, I was never insulting, nasty, nor did I EVER use profanity in ANY WAY.

I guess they didn’t like the 3 emails I sent, as a rep called me, and after saying his name, proceeded to ask me "what my problem was and what I wanted"? I actually thought it was a joke at first. I told them I just wanted to know what the purpose was of paying the extra $10 for expedited shipping. The rep continued to badger me and insult me, without even answering my question. Finally I said, I'm glad you have enough business that you can treat a customer this way. The badgering continued on his part, saying that he was going to cancel my order and that I could never order from Eluma again....(did he really think I planned on doing that?) until I finally called him a F------ JACK A$$ and hung up.

All the while, I told him that I had more than more than 20 friends and family members that wanted to order Eluma. I assured him that would NOT BE HAPPENING NOW!

The best part was what he put on my order page on their web site: "Customer sent very belligerent emails and when an attempt was made to contact this customer via telephone he used numerous profanities and insulted our staff. This account will not be issued any additional orders or service in the future."

Anyway, sorry for such a long story, I just wanted to make sure everyone on here knew what you were going to be dealing with.

PLEASE NOTE: I will forward ANY of the emails I sent to Eluma, if you want to see just how belligerent I was...... as well, so you dont tick off the staff at Eluma.

Oh yea, and the date I told you to remember - it was a Saturday and Eluma is closed. Even if they were open (which they are not according to their web site), is not pretty funny that they waited until that day to ship my E's.

Again, sorry so long and BTW, if anyone has a great ecig brand they want to recommend, I am all ears!

    Have a GREAT WEEK!!!

So sorry, to hear about your experience with these people..Hadn't heard of Eluma before so had to go check out at least what model they were..
Seems Eluma is the same company as Blu..which has also gotten some pretty bad reviews and reputation for horrible customer service and ungodly waiting times...And I guess they just recently issued a safety warning that their carry case/charger is defective and poses a safety and fire risk...so...um..that sucks...

My recommendation wold be to look into 1 of 2 models, either the 510 or the KR808D-1. Both have sub forums on here..the 510 is pretty much the most popular model around... the KR808D-1 is a 2 piece model instead (battery and cartomizer) also hugely popular...if you want to further research some models find the intro to the wonderful world of vaping thread written by DonDaBoom..that will help alot.

As for where to get em...
Check NHaler for both models, theres also a 10% off coupon code (saveinnj) and his shipping is super quick (like expect your stuff in 2-3 business days quick)...
Or cignot for the 510 slightly cheaper on the kit but you gotta get juice...also said to have super fast shipping...
Or Rocky Mountain vapor for the 510..if in stock he also is reported to have super fast shipping..
Or Vapor 4 Life for the KR808D-1 ...think they might have regular coupon codes...also supposed quick shipping...

I don't think you could go wrong getting either model from any of the 4 mentioned suppliers...they have stellar reputations as far as great customer service and very quick shipping...so much so that loyal customer fanbases for at least 3 of the 4 border on almost cult like..

    Current PVs: Precise Plus 18650 10/7/11, Super6 3/13/10, eGo 1/23/10, 510 11/24/09, KR8 12/23/09 (shelved 1/10/10)...

It's very funny that you bring up the point about their site looking just like the "BLU" web site. Me and several of my colleagues at work (who also are vaping now), said the exact same thing....verbatum!

And I can assure you, what little dealing I had with Blu (before I bought the Elumas), it seems like their customer service...minus the horrible phone call!

After reading several reviews about Modern Vapor, I decided to place an order for a starting kit and some extra carts. I love their selection of colors.....actually, the most I have seen yet. Plus, I was having a problem with a coupon code, so I emailed the address on their website and the owner answered my email within 10 minutes, and was really a nice guy and gave me a 25% off code off my 1st order. Plus, their carts are only $5.95 each. Their starter kits are average priced @ $79.95. And include FREE shipping and claim of a very fast turn around.

I will post a review when I get my new Modern Vapors!

Good lord, that was an unreal experience. You've been BANNED from ordering?? That's pure crazy. I have to agree, though. I like the product, but they do have ungodly long shipping times. I foolishly spent the extra $10 for fast delivery too (ha ha ha). Had I not ordered my own juice (My Freedom Smokes-I highly recommend them), I'd have been without carts for the past two weeks. I called once and emailed once, and their customer service was good for me, but I can't deal with the waiting times. I'm torn now between ordering a buttload of parts so that I don't have to go through waiting 3 weeks for a battery or atomizer when they fail or giving in and ordering a 510 from a company that ships faster. I really love the J902 though. The product is the only thing keeping me with them right now.

On November 2, I ordered the Eluma “Complete Kit” and paid the $9.99 for priority mail. Finally on November 19 I received my order but what they sent me was the Eluma Simple “Starter Kit. I placed a phone call to their Customer Service and was told that he was going to notify shipping department right away so they could get in the mail the remainder of my order.

The following day November 20, after being satisfied with their product, I ordered $74.90 of accessories and paid for priority mailing again. As of yesterday I had not received the products to finish my first order or my accessories order. I emailed customer service asking if the remainder of my Eluma “Complete Kit” has been sent out and when my accessories order would be sent out.

A few hours later I received an email that did not make sense to me so I replied to their email and as of yet they have not replied

So not being too happy with Eluma delivery I placed an order with CIGNOT this morning and have already received an email from Terri that my order has shipped.
So far I’m very happy with CIGNOT.

Wow....deja vu! I actually thought I was reading my initial post!

Sorry to hear about your mess with Eluma. Please note: I am only saying their name because I want people to read about the mess one could encounter with them, not because I want to promote them.

I am glad to hear that you did not have the luxury of receiving such an outstanding, make you feel good customer service phone call.

    Good luck with your order.

By the way, I do have to give props to Tony at Modern Vapor. What a GREAT guy and if the product that was sent out the same day I ordered it, is half as good as the service thus far, I will be happy man!!!!!

I know the product is more important the service, but when you are subject to the garbage that happened to me, I think service is just as important.

I will post a review of the product as soon as it arrives.

I honestly could not believe that when I read it.... "BANNED FROM A ORDERING ANYMORE PRODUCT". What is this a bar where a bartender can refuse your order??? Like I said/told him, "i'm glad you have enough business that you can treat your customers this way".....must be nice huh!

The kicker about the whole thing is, beside the initial $80 on the starter kit, I also have another battery and atomizer that is completely USLESS TO ME!
You know what I'd like to do with it.......
